libertycitymobster326
I've noticed in Alderney Island there seems to be a couple nods to Portland Island from GTA III, like Sal's mansion (may or may not be, but the trail up to the house looks very similar), the abandoned nightclub Toni blows up in LCS, the sunken Columbian SPANK boat. There's even a strange building that has it's logo covered up, but you can see the bottom of it, it looks strangely similar to the Head Radio logo. Is Alderney supposed to be Portland from III? It seems like Rockstar just reversed the map for gta IV, since the airport was on the west side in III and now on the east in IV. It's pretty interesting. significantother
Maybe. It is probably just an easter egg though. However I also read that somewhere that Head Radio was supposed to make a return in GTA IV but it was dropped during development.

WildBrick142
Found trail that looks like Sal's mansion, ship and Doll's House. Still looking for the Head Radio. Edited March 22, 2013 by WildBrick142
libertycitymobster326
The building that looks to be the Head Radio building is on the west side of Tudor across the street from the housing complex. The SPANK boat is off to the Southwest of Acter Industrial Park. Edited March 22, 2013 by libertycitymobster326
The_Anti-tragedy
Sometimes I see the odds that Liberty City in IV is faced south in III. Dukes/Broker can be the upper part of Shoreside Vale with the airport on that part of the borough instead. Bohan is the lower part that became smaller somehow. Algonquin's the same except for the neighborhoods and gang area. And Alderney is Portland where there's a long coastline in the east and docks and industrial sh*t in the south. LazlowsucksiloveslutS
This is a cool discovery. There's still alot to discover in IV
GoldenBlade
It's great to see that after 5 years, people are still finding out interesting stuff about GTA IV. It is certainly a huge game with many things to discover. I'll have to check out the Head Radio building lookalike myself. I still remember it from GTA III. Patrizio
Can anybody get pics to compare this? Btw, the old mansion in Alderney is not Salvatore's mansion, unfortunately. I think Rockstar missed a trick with that.
GoldenBlade
At Sal's mansion, you could find the Leone Sentinel. At the mansion in Alderney, you can find the Sultan RS.
