GtaVComments
GAME V GAME OK, so time to start a new topic. I think it's something original. I'll start by listing two games and you can choose which one wins in terms of performance, fun, quality etc... You can say which one you think is better and if you like you can start a discussion as to why you think it's better than it's competitior in this case. At first it will be rather discussion-less because it'll take time to gather pace however you can post your game v game after a while and start your own mini discussion (snowball effect) or you could join in on the game v game already being discussed if you don't wanna change the subject. Rules: - Try not to post more than 3 separate debates on one page. - Don't ruin the debate by posting inappropriate comments regarding someone's opinion. - You can post ANY game v game comparison as long as both are on the same console. - Only post one comparison at a time. - Try keep the games as relevant to each other as possible i.e. The same game category e.g. sports, open world etc... - Have a bit of fun. So, with that in mind, I'll start the ball rolling for you guys with something simple and relevant... Sleeping Dogs v Saints Row 3 *New Section* I'm going to try catch all the comparison ideas so the people who read the OP can then resume a discussion without having to read through all the posts to see what's happening. 1. Sleeping Dogs v. Saints Row 3 - GtaVComments 2. Theme Park World v. Roller Coaster Tycoon - Fireman 3. Burnout Paradise v. Midnight Club L.A - LazyboyEight 4. Carmageddon 2 v. Destruction Derby: Raw - Fireman Edited March 25, 2013 by GtaVComments

GtaVComments
Sleeping Dogs, in every way it's better Personally, I think SR3 is better. both r small maps but SR3 seems more fun imo Someone else can post a comparison if they want
kudoboi
sleeping dogs. i felt that SR3 campaign was very dull. they forced the side missions down people's throat. SD was very unique because not many open world games allowed you to play has a undercover cop and the story was imo engaging and different. the game had a very different vibe as well because it was in HK. I took this picture awhile ago on max settings on PC. it really made me feel like i was there Edited March 21, 2013 by kudoboi
Forzum
Sleeping Dogs. I was really surprised by this, really good story, fighting is tons of fun, and the city feels alive and it looks quite good and it felt like a unique game even tho there are so many sandbox games. Tho I have not played that much of SR3, tried it for a few hours, but I just can't stand the SR series.
Fireman
Sleeping Dogs wins if you look at it like a game, but the SR3 online seems to be a lot of fun if you do it with friends from the videos I saw. Alright here's a difficult and yet interesting comparison, both from the same year (1999, best gaming year ever); Theme Park World VS. Roller Coaster Tycoon (1)

Roller Coaster Tycoon (1) I haven't played Roller coaster tycoon, so I'll vote for Theme Park World. I played this a couple times before and never actually remembered it until now. It was a good game. Building your own tracks for example from an aerial view was enjoyable especially as a kid, however I don't think I could enjoy it nowadays due to the physics. Fireman
Theme Park World has a function that RCT took a few years to implement, on-ride 1st person cameras. What I didn't like about Theme Park World is the Themes (yeah I know, that's the entire game). In RCT you could create your own theme much nicer with so much choice of scenery instead of just "theme-based" attractions.
Guest
As for Sleeping Dogs and SR3 - none of them are better. They were both ruined because of DLC whoring, though really, Sleeping Dogs whored worse. SR3 just had some aesthetic stuff but SD went full on and cut LOADS. Missions, activities, vehicles, outfits, the lot. Here's a hard one. Two f*cking awesome games. Burnout Paradise vs Midnight Club LA. Myself, I can't decide, I love them both. AceRay
I can't wait for Max Payne vs Dead To Rights, Silent Hill vs every Survival horror game, Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) vs Heavy Rain, Bully vs Persona 3/4, Final Fantasy XIII vs dog sh*t etc etc But for this one, Rollar for me. I'd have to choose Midnight Club L.A just simply for the fact that at the moment it brings the slight feeling of GTA V. Burnout is also a good game but I don't know why but I just don't favor it that much, maybe its just me... I'll add your comparison to the list. Fireman
Fine fine, Carmageddon 2 (1999) versus. Destruction Derby: Raw (2000) Both car demolition games, one open-world, the other derby-racing/arena bash. My vote obviously goes to Carmageddon, much better damage models, includes peds as well, open-world and exploering made it a lot more fun than DD, but the arena/bowl levels in DD were awesome as well and those are only added to Carmageddon by mods (which is another plus for Carmageddon, an active modding comunity). AceRay
Destruction Derby RAW was EPIC beyond belief and I'm going to have to go for that one personally. Such good fun in that one.
