Posted March 20, 2013 Share Posted March 20, 2013 Cvg made an announcement in one of there other gta5oclock shows stating that they were going to have a huge announcement in one of the next few episodes. Today cvg has put up their new gta5oclock vid. Now they are saying that they were not talking out of their ass (which I thought they were) and that they are going to have some type of info about the game in the next few weeks. Here is the vid They also say that they can't talk further about this beacuse they have to be quiet about it. So what do you guys think about this. He was basically saying he's hoping and that he's confident we'll get something. But it's more wishful thinking versus anything based on accurate information. We all know how secret Rockstar is when it comes to these things. Remember Champchong and how he whored his YouTube account by saying things like "Info next week"..... "Multiplayer info in a few months" (in early 2012)? While these CVG guys aren't necessarily doing something that extreme, people should not misinterpret their speculative words only because they're speaking from the perspective of a high profile publication - and think that the prophetic nature of their predictions is based on concrete insider information. Rockstar has realized that "anticipation marketing" is working so well, that they don't even need to publish any screenshots, trailers, boxart or game info. They can create a frenzy in the hardcore GTAV community just by announcing a delay. That's probably the next news we'll get .... but not yet, a couple of months from now. A casting call is designed to find actors that are right for a certain character, the names are unimportant so changing them is a very common practice.
