K-Malo94
It has come to my attention all of the topics concerning features that require players to preform tedious tasks such as filling up gas tanks ad following traffic laws for the sake of realism. What if we all took these ideas and crammed them into a secondary singleplayer mode called "Real Life Bullsh*t Mode"? In this mode, you're basically playing a life simulator for the ultimate role-playing experience. These additional rules only apply out side of missions since the missions are scripted. The additional rules are as follows: -All traffic laws must be followed. Failure to do so will cause observing police officers to pull you over and fine you. Also some streets have surveillance cameras that will catch you if the cops don't, so you'll automatically be fined anyway. -If you resist arrest and get away with it, thats not the end of it. cops will be able to identify you and they may randomly try to arrest you again until you're brought to jail. -Every time you go to jail for a petty crime you have actually to serve the sentence. -If you go to jail three times that's three strikes (game over) you have to reload a previous save. -If you murder someone and get busted for it you get a life sentance (game over/reload previous save). -If you die: game over (reload). -Cars need to be periodically refilled with gass. -Guns erode over time and you'll have to maintain them or buy new ones. -You need to eat three times a day or you'll become malnourished and this will hinder performance during combat and driving (eventually you die). this is just a few ideas. feel free to add anything else you feel would be necessary. Well, I think he's mostly joking but also suggesting an ALTERNATE mode where all the bullsh*t can go. Anyways, I'd add that as well as gas, you also have to eat, sleep, pay bills, maintain a healthy diet, feed the dog, spend time with and time fixing your family, and so on and so forth. saintsrow
Good idea, both ironically and in reality. "Real Life Bullsh*t Mode" with all the things mentioned above, is just another way of playing and living in GTAV for the next 7 to 8 years while waiting for GTA6. It's something to do that makes all those years more purposeful and less boring. I still play TBOGT just to rampage and rack up more stats for destruction. The hours I spent are gone from my life forever. There might as well at least be some numbers that indicate the activities and the progress I have made in all those years. A properly-constructed, complete "Real Life Bullsh*t Mode" would keep track of all that virtual living we did. Otherwise, it's nothing but dust in the virtual wind. Lil ski
Grand Theft Auto: ArmA Edition "As real as it gets!" -Firing a weapon uses realistic basic marksmenship fundamentals. You can no longer pray and spray. When firing a weapon you must aim and hold the controller steady (yes I said the controller) control your actual breathing and depress the fire button slowly (not too fast) failure to do so will result in extremely decreased accuracy and you won't hit a damn thing. Also running for a long time will throw your accuracy off a lot too. -if you are within 50-100 meters of a grenade or just any explosion, you will get injured by shrapnel and possibly lose a limb or two (and you won't be able to move...at all) -any injury by bullets or shrapnel will incapacitate you and you will not be able to move. Call the paramedics if possible, wait 15-30mins real time For them to arrive. Edited March 20, 2013 by Lil ski

cody7799
Not a bad idea, all things considered. If it was done right, it could kick the crap out of SAMP.
