My cousin, as a gay man, is irrate that there will be female prostitutes in the game.

Why would gays even bother with GTA. It's all too rugged and violent for their soft nature. I'm no biologist but aren't they nothing more than an imbalance on hormonal levels that make them like females. I don't see females complaining about straight bars/strip clubs in GTA, let alone caring much about GTA at all.

I'm seeing a lot of ppl saying "I shouldn't be forced to see it." defence. Ever thought gay people wished they didn't see straight people. Majority or minority, people need to learn tolerence. Half of you people acted like it's 1950 again, and America is still segregated.

What's wrong with that ? If people don't wanna see it, they have a right to feel that way, because they don't wanna see it, many people still feel alien to it and disgusted by it. They can't help but feel that way, just the same way gay men can't help having sexual feelings for other men. You can spin it any way you want, but you just need to accept the harsh reality that homosexuality in most societies, even liberal Western ones, is still largely not the norm, probably never will be. It is a generally accepted fact that a homosexuality is a normal occurrence in human societies, but it is clearly not a biologically natural human form of sexuality.

 

As for tolerance and equality, yeah I can agree with that, but I don't see why homosexuality should be pushed in other people's faces when it is not the norm.

I see what your saying, and Official in some ways I agree. I have family and friend that are gay and coming from the southern part of the United States it's difficult for them. I'm very defencive about this because I've seen first had at what people do and say to homosexual people. Plus, I believe 100% in civil right to all people.

 

My thought is think if the world was switched and homosexuality was the majority and it was pushed in your face by every form of media. That is what gay people deal with everyday. Then the majority doubles back say that two women is ok, as long as they're hot. I'm saying if you don't want they're version push in your face don't push yours in theirs.

I don't think that there will be bars like these ones. They were in The Ballad of Gay Tony because Luis, the protagonist, worked for his boss Tony Prince who owns two clubs, Maisonette 9 and Hercules. The latter one is the gay club and since the story is mainly about Tony and the downfall of the clubs, there was a valid point to include a club for homosexuals. That is not the case with GTA V so there is no point in including bars, like the Hercules in TBoGT, in the game.

You cannot say that heterosexuality should not be 'pushed' into gay people's faces, because we live in an overwhelmingly, heterosexual society, every corner of the world is like that. Gay people cannot just 'hide' from heterosexual expressions, media or imagery in a predominantly heterosexual society, it is all around them to begin with. And I don't think most straight people go around bothering gay people like that anyway, not many straight people have time to 'push' straightness into gays faces, they got their families to feed and look after.

it is because of the fact that straight people are the majority that gay people should be over-represented in the media, so that eventually people such as yourself can get over their aversion to their orientation.
