JCX AF1
I think they should add more new music tbh this is 2013 LA. Obviously rap these days isn't as good as it used to be, but I want to see; Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Hopsin, Odd Future, Compton Menace, YG, Nipsey Hussle, School Boy Q. Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, DJ Quik & Game are old school but they have recent albums which should be added into the game. Also he's not from LA but Chief Keef should be on the soundtrack I mean his music perfect for them drive-by's and shootout's.
Steven Ride
It won't only be west coast rap on the radio, GTAIV had DJ Khaled, T.I etc...even SA had an east coast station.
rjmthe2nd
A classic hip-hop station with Biggie, 2pac, Eric B & Rakim, Ice Cube, A Tribe Called Quest and the like would be cool. Also, a modern station with Lil Wayne, Drake, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick, Kanye, Jay-Z maybe some more recent Nas and some Outkast on it would be great, along with a lot of other stuff. Wanna cruise around Inner City Los Santos blaring It Was A Good Day. We're talking about west coast music not east coast. THANK YOU!

.JimmyHopkins.
i understand that everyone is free to like whatever music they want, but if any of you have been tru the 90's hip hop and has some knowledge about how hip hop is actually made ,and the art of it ...when you get to the essence you really see that those modern "rappers" actually don't know sh*t about how to be creative or original or are not talented at all. Most of them actually are dumb and suck at making that art of music, but they sell cloths and sh*t to little teenagers and wanna be gangsters ,making a lot of money for the industry . That's why they are so popular,if the game was real and artists had to prove themselfs in rap battles like a lot of real oldschool cats did back in the day ,then most of those modern day "rappers" will go down the sh*tter because they can't really rap for sh*t! I don't want mainstream rap on the radio, just real underground hip hop from the LA scene and maybe some oldschool for the nostalgia of it Edited March 21, 2013 by libertycityfilms

Today's rapper suck unlike the 90's where you had amazing rappers. http://images.puahate.com/this-is-a-rapper.jpg 2pac is an above average rapper at best, but has a lot of soul and emotion in his work. Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake are all very talented. Seriously, Wayne was on top of the game up until about 2010. Tha Carter 1-3 and his The Drought and The Drought is Over series of mixtapes are all really good. He rides beats very well, and is actually a fine lyricist. Nicki Minaj can rap. Her verse on Monster by Kanye West is probably one of the best on the album; different flows, voices and great lyrics in one verse. Say what you want about her actual output of material, but she can rap pretty well. Drake's Take Care is a great album, critically acclaimed and commercially successful, for good reason. His "So Far Gone" mixtape is also probably one of the best all time, and he's been in the hip-hop scene for about 7 years now. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you've never listened to an album or mixtape by any of these three and are only judging them by their radio singles. Maybe you should listen to one and come back with an informed opinion about them, you'll probably enjoy Take Care and Tha Carter III as soon as you start listening to them.
