Should be obvious. E3 in June is way more likely.. but even then chances are very slim for an appearance at E3.

why are people still asking if Rockstar will attend gaming conventions? that's not their style. they don't need to go, rockstar can just update the newswire and that's it. the gaming conventions need rockstar more than rockstar needs them.

 

Alright, maybe they WILL go but if they do it will be privately and anyone who is present will have to sign their life away on NDA's.

 

Keep your eye on the newswire. Shouldn't be too long before we get something new.

They've been to GDC in recent years so it's entirely possible.

 

I think PAX East is the one to look out for though (which is next weekend) as they've shown off games there the past 3 years.

I think there might well be some press demos (maybe even hands on demos for press) that we'll hear about next week.

They won't be there, but two days after the event is over put out something that puts all the hype back on GTAV.

 

Just my prediction based on past actions of after other convention/conferences.

Didn't I see an image of the different stations there would be at PAX and Rockstar was not one of the attendees..?

 

Also I'd expect them to be at E3 out of all the conferences this year, but I seriously doubt they will be there

They've not been to E3 during the past decade, so that's not likely to change this year.

 

They have however been at PAX in some capacity for the past 3 years at least. They let some journalists play RDR for the first time a at PAX, so I wouldn't be TOO surprised if that happened again with V this year. We'll see.

 

We're getting off topic though: as for GDC I've no idea!

There was a guy on Forums here who did, got 2 names correct 2...

 

I also predicted multiple protags with the pattern R* took in IV/EFLC was pretty obvious
