nickth2009
I just installed Grand Theft Auto IV on my new PC with a NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 (2GB). I'm only getting about 17FPS on the benchmark. Here are my results: StatisticsAverage FPS: 17.01Duration: 37.16 secCPU Usage: 15%System memory usage: 24%Video memory usage: 52%Graphics SettingsVideo Mode: 1920 x 1080 (60 Hz)Texture Quality: HighRender Quality: HighView Distance: 32Detail Distance: 70HardwareMicrosoft Windows 8Microsoft Windows 8Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 Video Driver version: 306.14Audio Adapter: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)Intel® Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHzFile ID: Benchmark.cli Anybody know why it's only using ~52% of my GPU and not all of it. Is it maybe the driver?

SlaveZer0
your video card is low end and will not handle this game smoothly... get a gtx 660 ti or above and youll be golden
Tomm94
That GPU cannot handle GTAIV well on those settings (especially 1080p). I would lower the resolution and lower the settings a bit to push your FPS to 25-30. If you don't want to do that, then you're going to have to spend £100+ on a GPU to handle it. I would personally choose the GTX 660 (or the Ti version of the 660). Hope this helped . Edited March 19, 2013 by Tomm94
Andreas
The processor is fine but the problem in this case is your graphics-card. It's from the newest generation but nowhere as good as a GTX460 or GPUs in the same performance class. You have to lower the graphic-settings of the game to make it playable. Texture quality, detail distance and so on should be rather on middle settings than on high settings. unc13bud
i don't know if it is the 384 shader gt 630 or the 96 shader gt 630 (curse you nvidia!), but either way, you aint supposed to be running all high settings with that card, no matter what your CPU. medium with draw distances set no higher than 20. vehicle slider set to 1, shadows low. yoječ
As far as I'm aware there is no GT630 384Sp - it's the GT640 that has 384 shaders. GT630 has either 96 or 192 shaders.
