IM_YOUR_GOD Posted March 19, 2013 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Let's face it. Rockstar is known for adding unessacary elements to GTA like the ability to pick up items in GTA4 but not use them. (Bong, beer, etc) Well from looking at the screenshots I suspect we may have different level tides, but does this mean we will be able to surf this time around? Then you see them struggle as the water rises around their neck. They're scared as f*ck, literally pissing themselves out of fear. The water's at their nose, it's getting harder for them to breathe. It passes their nose, it's at their eyes. At this point their holding their breath, unable to move from the hog-tie. And everything went black... What could possibly be more useless than Yoga? Even playing Golf is a completely boring and stupid "feature" of GTA V, I'd take surfing over these two any day. meta187 Posted March 19, 2013 Share Posted March 19, 2013 If they can make the mechanics for surfing every bit as enjoyable and basic as riding a bike, I think surfing would be an absolute blast. Why not, it's Cali, man! Enjoy the beach, the sun, the waves and the scantilly clad ladies watching from the shoreline. Also the occasional shark who makes a snack out of you. No reason to be closed minded or limit our recreational options in what is sure to be a beautiful section of the world to explore in this grand presentation. I think R* played around with the idea of skateboarding in San An but ditched it. I hope they take a serious look at it and surfing because these are two very big things in Calui culture. I'd love to see a nod to DogTown, that sh*t would send chills down my spine. If you've never watched the movie: The Lords Of Dog Town, then check it out.
