The Wong Asian
OK so I have Dell insperon 15 laptop, its about 4 years old, I've used the computer for the past year for SAMP only, as I have a new computer. Cut to the chase tonight when I went to get on SAMP, and to download some vehicle mods, it just froze on me, so I restarted it and after I restarted it, it came up with this error where there wifi signal bars would be. I made sure that the wifi was turned on by pressing F2, and its turned on. And I went into the network settings to try to connect to a different wifi network, and it says "You are currently not connected to any networks" Nor are any other networks showing up. And I was on samp able to play it, kid you not just 16 hours before. I've tried to hard wire connecting the laptop into the router and into the modem, still no internet. So I'm kinda at a standstill right now, and seeking help of anyone who has an idea on how to fix this. Thanks in advance!
nightwalker83
I have had the same problem in the past not sure how to permanently fix the problem but you could use a network cable and plug the laptop directly into the router.
Bad.boy!
Are you sure that you have your wifi enabled? Because the icon doesn't look like it.
Wolf68k
A few things I would try. If you haven't already tried, reinstall the drivers for your network devices. Restart into "SafeMode with Networking" and try hard wire connection to the modem/router Second create a new Windows account and see if that account has the same issues. The idea being that it might be a settings type issue with the account you're using. I don't think trying to do a system restore back to a date and time when it last work would help, but give that a try as well if you're feeling up to it. Failing all of that, back up your stuff and reinstall back to factory. If that has been running on that install of the OS for 4 years then it's time to do that anyway.
