apple215
Hello- I have downloaded and installed the legal (not cracked) disk version of GTA IV. I installed it easily. I got all the way to the load screen which has the title of the mission in silver and blinking in the lower right-hand corner and got this message: http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/Collin_P...html?sort=3&o=0 http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/Collin_P...html?sort=3&o=1 After I get this "not responding" message, I wait a few minutes and nothing happens. Then, I click "don't send" and it completely shuts down my GTA IV. How can I fix this? I have .NET framework 3.5 and 4.0 installed. I also have all the C++ programs installed along with the lattest game patch, Microsoft Silverlight, and xliveness. The only mod I have installed is LCPDFR 0.95. My system: Computer: HP Compaq Computer d530 Operating system: Windows XP Pro 64-bit, version 2002, service pack 3 Intel Pentium ® 4 CPU 2.60 GHz Chip Type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor AGP DirectX: Version 9.0 Memory: 3452MB RAM I would greatly appreciate any help. luceberg
It is not clear what your system is, but a Pentium 4 2.6Ghz is well below minimum required spec.
unc13bud
you shouldn't have any modifications for a computer such as that. you don't have dual core and agp era radeon sounds like it isn't up to the task either. maybe play san andreas? your machine would be perfect for that, i think. gta iv is a bit overrated anyway.
