I wouldn't have bothered. You see we only have 2 trailers so I wouldn't have done anything. Its like trying to bleed blood from a stone. Oh and before you berate me, you can't expect to make substandard videos and post them on a public forum and for nobody to criticise them. Your attitude towards anyone with any criticism is not too good my friend. Next time you make a video, maybe show some friends before posting it. It's not that I hate people with criticism, there's always going to be criticism no matter where you go, but what pisses me off is the people who come in here to just say "lol you're retarded, you suck" those kind of comments. shattered-minds Posted March 19, 2013 Share Posted March 19, 2013 (edited) I think the problem is that you've tried to put two things together that simply don't mesh. Personally I think it was pretty poor, but its more to do with lack of material than lack of skill. It felt forced, as if when putting it together, the thought process was whenever there was talking (regardless of who it was), stick a clip of people talking. My advice for any future project like that is to break it down, shot for shot, and storyboard the hell out of it to work out what clip you are going to place where. Then take a step back and judge whether or not it will actually work. Because with the material available no one would be able stitch the two together and make it work. You clearly enjoy editing (I don't, worst part of my job) so I'd suggest remixing the trailer to a song that you think would fit, thay way you have more creative freedom and you can find you're own style.
