does Michael pass for an early 40s guy

R* will probably do some small changes on him too make him appear slightly younger (then when we saw him in the trailer)

I think he looks right, but Jesus christ, couldn't you have found a smaller picture? Michaels wrinkles look like the f*cking Grand Canyon!

The game takes place between 2010 to 2013 if I recall correctly, so that could possibly be the later stages of the game; as there are some screenshots of Michael where he looks a bit younger.

The people complaining about him being old are most likely to be 10-12 year old kids, "0mg old people cant do sh!!!!1!". Seriously, c'mon, he's 40 and it's not going to affect gameplay. Most people I know that are in their 40s are in great shape still.

But I'm still interested in playing as Michael though, much more than that dirtbag Trevor. Yeah he certainly looks older than 40 that is for sure.

For a GTA protagonist, I think it is. I'd rather a protagonist for GTA be not much older than his mid-30s. A 40 year old gangster really should not be still running around on criminal escapades or doing errands for crime bosses. A guy like that less likely to be a criminal with any credible smarts.

umm... Michael is a highly successful bank robber, and most likely a criminal mastermind, seeing as he will most likely plan out the heists for the trio, and he is also the operative....

Michael might not be as athletic as Franklin or even Trevor, but he pretty much has the brains, skills and the experience to equalize that

I personally think it would be hilarious to have a protagonist in his mid 60s or 70s.. You could have hoverounds, the stair lifts inside your home, canes, walk-in showers... The possibilities are endless.

Max in that game is the best and most badass protag of any R* title so far for me, and Michael doesn't look much older than him, if older at all. But I see you still hold a certain resentment about Michaels age. And why the hate for Trevor? why would Michael be a crime boss, he is not part of a criminal organization, he is a former bank robber that used to run jobs with trevor, and probably other people as well like a small gang of robbers

Where did I mention my hate for Trevor comes me believing him to be a racist redneck ?? Where have ever said or indicated this ?? Well I have not said anything like that, so to answer your strange and silly question, NO, it is not that. I don't like Trevor so far, because he looks scruffy, he sounds very dirty and unclean and I just don't like his general appearance. His wild, crazy and reckless antics don't impress me either. I could not careless whether he listens to hip hop and has black friends, I still don't like the look and sound of him.

I did not even say anything remotely connected to race regarding my dislike of Trevor. Straw reasons ? If that is what you think, then that's fine. The appearance and style of a protagonist in GTA matters to me, it is an important factor that influences my liking of that protagonist. I liked Tommy Vercetti's 80s, slick Miami Vice appearance. I liked CJ's 90s ghetto, urban look. I like the fact that Niko could choose from a range of contemporary, modern styles, urban, casual, smart suited, city guy etc.

 

Have I ever played GTA before ? Hmmm, I'm on a GTA forum, what do you think ? I won't answer a stupid question.
