Red carpet events? Paparazzi? Celebrity stalking?

In GTA V I would love to see a few of the more famous NPC's implemented as full blown celebrities. In the game world they would go about their daily routines, attending red carpet events, and being stalked by the paparazzi. Since the game takes place in "movie magic central" aka Hollywood, I think a feature such as this holds a lot of potential. Imagine taking a casual drive through downtown LA and you see the paparazzi furiously snapping pictures at a string of celebrities walking down the red carpet for the debut of the hottest new movie to release. It would be a spectacle watch, and an even greater one to have some fun with.

It would be cool to "assassinate" a celebrity. Just imagine Trevor on the rooftop of a nearby building looking down the scope of a sniper on a red carpet event, then BAM! Everybody runs in fear and the police sit there confused and then the search is on

I think you got these ideas from TBOGT sidemission (club management) I really enjoyed that aswell! Being chased by the paperazzi and killing them as they come in your way is just amazing!

I really hope we get some more of this kind of thing. The only way we saw any of this in SA, was the mission you do where you drive the celeb into the ocean . It would be great if we get parodies of men like George Clooney, Michael Moore, Rosie O'Donnell, so I can pour petrol over them as Trevor, and watch as they slowly burn to death while screaming to the gods.

I'd hope to see:

 

- film premieres take place (paparazzi, film stars walking the red carpet, news outlets, limos and SUVs, helicopter floating overhead, security details, crowds of adoring fans) >>> these would vary in scale and be quite rare events, possibly publicised via radio

 

- celebrities jogging round and shopping, being stalked by paparazzi (maybe a car or two staking them out, a scooter, an on-foot ped scurrying after them as if they're tommy ton, maybe followed by a security detail)

 

- street style photo ops by wanna-be models, models, #menswear types etc. (hordes of street-style photographers clicking away)

 

- the odd store-opening, red ribbon, giant scissors, few paparazzi again

 

- you might stumble upon a photo shoot on the beach, similar set-up to the OG Loc thing

 

- VIPs in nightclubs

 

what level of interaction would this entail?

 

increased visibility when committing a crime in the vacinity of these events maybe?

Given the location, I hope the Vinewood movie industry is well represented (parodied) in V. Paparazzi following celebs, maybe a street closed off for filming a scene & you go barreling through in a truck, smashing all the expensive cameras & wiping out the star (a short mid-forties Epsilon member). Then if you watch the TV over the next few days, you'll see news reports on it.

 

What would be hilarious. An old abandoned set of a Wild West town out in the desert, which is actually a recreation of Armadillo (I know they're not in the same universe).
