Space Lizard
Hello. I have a problem with my GTA crashing to desktop whenever my player goes anywhere near Mount Chiliad or Angel Pin in-game. I have made sure no big mods were installed. I'm pretty sure little ones such as HUD blips don't make your game crash. I really do not know what's going on. Help, please? It also appears as if something is being triggered when I go near that area. Like I said, I made sure I had cleo uninstalled, my gta3.img is clean, and I never installed ANY map mods (islands, more trees etc.). Stryfaar
Try doing this: 1) Uninstall SA.2) Delete the installation folder if it still exists. (e.g. C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas). 3) Delete the Virtual Store copy of the installation folder too. The Appdata folder might be hidden. (e.g. C:\Users\???\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas). 4) Delete the gta_sa.set file from your user files folder. 5) Reboot. 6) Reinstall SA. To Unhide Folders:START > User > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options> Show Hidden files and Folders. If the above doesn't work, then kindly tell me EVERY mods you have, yes, that includes every CLEO mod you have too.
Space Lizard
I am re-installing SA as I type this. Apparently, deleting the VirtualStore copy or gta.set did not work. Here are the only Cleo mods I have: -Slenderman Myth mod by DragonGhost88 -Cheat Menu V3 by UNRATED69 -Master Spark by Ryosuke And my edited hud.txd GTA IV blips by Narcis_Speed6. Yes, I have tried without ANY cleo mods on nor the Cleo.asi file. Still crashes. But thanks for helping. I'm relying on re-installation to fix this problem. Space Lizard
I got it. There seems to be a problem with the audio. I forgot to mention when I go near that area, the audio messes up and I hear loud static noises shortly before the game freezes then crashes. Even after re-installation, the problem is still present. I think there is something wrong with the installation disc. I think I'm gonna have to buy a new copy then.
