Yeah, Rockstar used to create their own songs; my favourite being: ...I believe this was recorded in-house anyway. They created some songs for GTA1, GTA2, GTA III, GTA LCS and probably others. http://gta.wikia.com/Gangster_Friday This song (GTA1 Theme Song) was composed by Craig Conner who is doing the soundtrack for GTA V. Craig Conner has actually collaborated with R* for a long time, he even did the Manhunt soundtrack. I didn't know the guy doing the GTAV soundtrack also created the GTA I theme sort of like going back to their roots, interesting. Wonder what GTA V's theme will be like? Based on the manhunt theme and Gangster friday I would go with a electronic sounding theme for V, but then again he might not be doing the theme just the soundtrack that will be used in some missions. JaggySnake Posted March 17, 2013 Share Posted March 17, 2013 it would be cool if they did for some radio channels. it will make the world feel more real. but rockstar can afford now to just buy rights to use peoples songs in games now. the soundtrack will be like red dead redemption. music playing at certain points in the game (remember riding into mexico?). music would also play when you had a wanted level, really added to the whole experience. i cant wait to see what its like in V. That's what I meant, if you can understand my previous post. It may not be on radios just like in IV, could only be through gameplay especially in missions.
