occupant
I have a GMT900 Tahoe that does this, as well as a Nissan pickup and now this 1980 Ford Bronco just released on GTAinside. I'm curious, what causes the suspension to have such extreme travel to where the shocks stand up, in some cases taller than the vehicle itself? Here's a screenshot of the Bronco:
ZBNYNC
That normally happens when you don't put the handling line in that came in the vehicle's readme.
occupant
Interesting. See, I had used a handling line from the last mod I used as "Rancher", a GMC Typhoon. I do have a handling line for this thing, I'll have to try it out. I've modded all my own handling lines manually to prevent rollovers and all, but maybe this particular model (and the Tahoe) needs to use the one the modder used. I'm curious which parts of the line cause this. I'll pull them up here in a bit and put them together and see what happens. I'm willing to bet it has to do with the suspension upper/lower limits, Su and Sl, or possibly the "Traction Spring Delta Max" or Ws+ value. monster875.
My guess would be handling flags. It has the ability for either mcpherson springs or classic springs (leaf springs). Ur car in the pic seems to use the leaf spring flag. As soon as i get home, i'll be able to help u easier
occupant
I bet that is it. I took all four handling lines and put them on top of each other. Two of them had a handling flag section starting with a 2, a 220000 and a 240000...and the other two were 440000 and 440010 (440010 was the one I was using). The handling flag that fixed the problem was 220000, but I imagine it's that 1 in there causing the problem because that denotes USE MAX SUSP LIMIT or something like that. I also managed to tweak it to perform better. No more coils shooting through the hood, yay!
