Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Widescreen Fix Grand Theft Auto Vice City Widescreen Fix Grand Theft Auto 3 Widescreen Fix This and many other fixes now available at thirteenag

Updated everything, also released widescreen fixes for Driver: Parallel Lines and Silent Hill 4.   Some change log notes here and downloads as always here: https://thirteenag.github.io/wfp

Maybe I will create another topic later if necessary, but for now: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/modupdater#readme       Project started as a simple updater tool for widescreen fixes, but then I

Speaking of WidescreenFrontend textures, I just replaced txds with the ones generated by Magic.TXD, and because of that, textures inside contain proper dimensions. So, FrontendAspectRatio = auto will detect it and display textures with correct aspect ratio. In case you want to try it out right away, developer builds available here (textures are on github, same link).

In the newest developer build the shadow of font is larger in VC than in III. Maybe related to https://github.com/ThirteenAG/WidescreenFixesPack/issues/105 ?
Also the SmallerTextShadows seems to be useless now in VC as when it's set to 1, the shadow is like in vanilla (and ofc SP is installed)

Isn't it how it's supposed to be?

I said either too close or too far. That setting just makes the camera go far like crazy when you speed up and I already had that disabled. My point was that the camera distances are not the way they used to be in 4:3 originally. The camera mode I was using is now too close and the other one is too far.

As a contrast, III and VC have perfect camera modes, more or less the way I remember them.

The Kart has a camera placed inside CJ for default (closest) :p

Weird problem though... on 16:9 distances are still the same except for that kart (or at least if it isn't bugged on the pc, haven't even tried without Widescreen Fix).

Nlgzrgn and I are currently working on removing the off-screen text and red squares from NFSU, so expect that to be solved in the next update.

In addition, I spent a few days gathering the coordinates for the pause and race results menu to move them to the edge of the screen, since I know that was annoying some people.

SSRenz, those are EXTERNAL or SCRIPT BASED, those are intended to be used on the original only, so yes when the display stuff is changed, those mods don't work properly, the MODS themselves need to be updated, not Widescreen Fix.

Did you fix the shadow in the splinter cell? And now the correction from Komat is no longer necessary?

No, I made my own wrapper that works the same way, excluding water reflection fix. So you can use whatever you prefer.

Does it make sense to use together? Or are they incompatible?

I have another question about gta.

In Widescreen Fixes there is also a d3d8.dll file. Is it identical to that in SkyGfx?

How are you planning to do that?

Hello, I do not know if I'm on the right topic, but I would like to ask for a "Widescreen Fix" for the game "Outlive", a 100% Brazilian game with a very strong community here in Brazil, and since 2001 players are forced to play In resolution 1024x768, please help Outlive community that loves this game so much

aIc3hN3h.jpg If I made a mistake, it's Google Translate's fault.

Okay, now the outline is shifted to the lower right, but the radar ring is squashed.

RT42ItUl.jpg

I'm having this exact issue with GTA3. I've tinkered around with the settings inside the INI and nothing seems to help it, is there a workaround?

Edit: Sorted it now, turns out the exe from the very first release isn't quite compatible. After I switched it out for a different version of the 1.0 exe everything worked as intended!
