SA looks beautiful with those heat hazes. I think is needed some size fix for the radio stations and vehicle names text as well.

Just use SilentPatch with this setting:

BTW :pp

Yeah yeah, those 'd's are confusing sometimes. Point is, it would throw some error at the startup, but people were saying that it just doesn't work, like it's not even there.

Looks like I missed out a little. ThirteenAG updated his SA fix and now it doesn't require Wesser's ASI, right?

Pretty sure it still does, but now it's mostly bug-free compared to before.

I actually mixed up the name too, but I am not programmer so I can get off scot-free!!

This stupid fix broke my altimeter, my text, my save game, my feelings, my heart. I'd rather play 4:3, screw you all.

TAG will you please take a look at this (as already posted)?

Will become more buggy as the subtitles scale is higher, seems that shadows aren't scaled properly/at all

These crappy shadows are present in the vanilla game as well...but the scale of them is so small, you barely notice them.

The ASI loader required for this fix to work crashes my game. As soon as the game loads some cutscene or radio audio the game crashes. It doesn't matter what version of the .exe I use. This obviously has something to do with the fact that the ASI loader replaces the .dll that deals with audio in this game.

Do you have steam version?

SA version includes the same Silent's ASI loader everyone use, which is what UAL based on, and if it is used as vorbisFile.dll, it uses 100% the same code regular asi loader does. Are you saying that it crashes with dll from my archive but works fine with Silent's ASI loader dlls? Edited by ThirteenAG

ASI Loader can't crash anything unless it loads something. I don't know what 'cracked executables' you've got, but you need only one, 1.0us HOODLUM/compact.

And if you're using steam version, downgrade is required also.

Thanks TAG, finally people will stop complaining about the lack of heat haze effect on San Andreas. :pp

You have another thing coming, I'm gonna complain about the presence of that effect, because I hate how ugly and weird it looks. Someone should fix it!

I see. It seems that the game is crashing due to missing radio content (that was cut from the Steam version). I'm downloading the downgrader now. I thought you only needed to switch executables in order to downgrade.

Haha. :D

You should consider add a option to the ini for enable and disable the heat haze effect, some people doesn't like it, just like you... and me.

But we shouldn't take this seriously eh? After all my I can't do nothing by myself and then I need to give sh*t to modders because their FREE work didn't meet my silly and ridiculous standards.

If serious means insulting people and their free work, then no, we shouldn't take it serious because that's not even being serious, that's just being an uptight c*nt. Two of the most minor bugs and you make a big deal about it, get over it already.

Good work TAG, just tested the latest version for San Andreas and it works well. :^:
