Widescreen fix for 'The Punisher' released: thirteenag.github.io/widescreen_fixes_pack#punisher

ssqb9GU.jpg mUoAVt5.jpg

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2-3 fixes were updated, now game runs in 4:3 resolution to avoid stretching.

Also i checked Bully, i think it's possible to fix incorrect aspect ratio on 16:10 monitors, if someone needs it, i can try.

I hate to be that guy again...

Actually, I think Bully is one of the games that has less worse stretching on high resolutions.

I didn't mention those resolutions for a reason. On 16:10 image is a bit thinner than it should be, which is possible to fix by setting screen width to match 16:9 aspect ratio(in theory, i tried that actually on windowed mode, but not sure how it will look on actual monitor). Multimonitor resolutions cannot be fixed that way. I haven't found any values responsible for stretching, no idea how this game handles it at all.

For The Punisher, the fine aim zooming doesn't seem to register all the way.

And the pictures in the War Journal section don't seem to show up, you can just cycle through them. The photos only show up if you hit enter on them and then cycle through them.

I used the mod on VC to improve 5:4 handling and just noticed how good map menu looks! Nice job!

Thanks, nice to see you back here. If you need anything to solve your 'internet problem' just say so ;)

Btw, someone requested a fix for 'Second Sight' game, and after some digging i found a way:

I think that's what comes next. But don't worry, i have your other requests in mind and if anything is possible to fix, i'll try to do it as well.

There's this bug in SA. Used to happen when using only Wesser's fix back in the day, but since his thread is inactive, guess I have to post it here

Happens when going on high speeds, or using a teleporter trainer (at least for me)

That is usually happens when the FOV value gets too high, i think it was reported before and Wesser will fix it in the next release.

He was here at page 32. I can't say for sure, but i believe he will fix it.

Well, apart from the frame limiter bug (I always keep it turned on), I wasn't able to predict the others. It is incomplete, not bugged. :p Unfortunately, I won't update it in the near future.

However, the sky-render enlargment is just a temporary solution and I hope it is the cause that screws up the game on too high speeds.

But why are the options switched at all? Are you using different method to include all resolutions or something?

Also just in case can you post the old WS fix 13AG? I can't find it anymore.

Nvm found it on GTAG. I'll use that one for now.

Me too, I use the old WS fixes since two years ago I think, because the new ones give me bugs and errors. For example on GTA III everytime when I exit of the game, sends me an unhandled exception and everytime the code is different but the strange thing is the game runs correctly and everything only when I exit of them.

Just tested, no crash for me. And there's no way new fixes have more 'bugs and errors' than the old ones.

Btw, i finished another request, this time it's Sonic Heroes:

I'll upload this and Second Sight fix soon.

Actually now that I tried it, it crashes for me too. Altough I'm not sure if it's the WS fix or W8 being sh*t.

You're probably using some 'workaround' plugin which does ExitProcess

I don't use Windows 8, I use Windows 7. On Windows 7 crashes too.

Nope, i'm doing my tests on a clean game or with limited set of plugins.

Well I tested again the fix on a clean installation, only Widescreen Fix for III installed, I set the 16:9 resolution on the INI, no more:

263es7m.jpg

In game works perfect, no errors, bugs or freezes:

sbitlt.jpg

Well, I exit of the game and I get this, click Accept and crashes:

vyrs74.jpg

I changed the resolution on the INI from 16:9 to auto, works flawless in game and later I exit of the game and the Unhandled Exception appears Unhandled Exception: 'c000005 At address: 63121e60'.

I don't know why or what is the issue.
