GSF Green Flag
Seth Briars from Red Dead Redemption is Trevors great great grandfather. I mean if you compare those two psychos it makes perferct sense lmao. What you guys think?

Matty
This is all good and everything, except that Red Dead Redemption and the GTA series aren't in the same universes. It is, therefore, impossible for any character in GTA V to have any relation to any of the characters in Red Dead Redemption. Sure, when coming up with Trevor's personality - Rockstar may of taken inspiration from characters from other games but it doesn't mean that they are related; which they aren't for the exact reason I mentioned above. Andreas
The Red Dead series and the Grand Theft Auto series are not in the same universe so I do not think that Seth Briars is related to Trevor in any way. ExtremoMania
Nice comparing characters except that it is in between two different universe which never has a no direct resemblance whatsoever to their storyline. GTA IV would be okay since it is set in a modern world but for Redemption that's set in the cowboy era, that's a nay for awhile.
BullworthAcademy
They are very similar.
ExtremoMania
They are very similar. To what way they are similar in form? The only thing they are similar is that both of them are HD universes. But I maybe wrong here.
bluetops
I'm pretty sure Seth said that his whole family is dead, or that's what I interpreted when he said "lost them" and "good riddance to them all"
Rjeev142
Seth briar probably died a virgin. Therefore he couldn't be Trevor's great grandfather or grandfather. In all seriousness, RDR and GTA don't take place in the same universe, therefore it would be impossible for Seth to be related to Trevor. But now that I think about it, Trevor seems pretty mentally stable compared to Seth.
Apex.
"Oh, I've lost it all partner. My wife, my children, my business. Good riddance to them all." So he had children, and judging by the way he says good riddance to them all, they probably left. So it's a very very very ultra-slim possibility. (only saying this because if it does turn out to be true I don't wanna be wrong ) But I'm 99% sure they're different universes because California and New York are mentioned, so, who knows. AtomicPunk
It's just like that one black dude from GTA 1 must BE FRANKLINS GREAT, great, great, great uncles friends son. I just don't believe that R* think this deep about things. Ancestors crossing universes? I just don't think so. There are loads of psychos out there who are mostly unrelated. I just think Trevor's misunderstood. Not neccesarily a psycho.
aaronimpact
I think the place name California is mentioned in RDR. But in the GTA universe California would be called another name.
