Dmos23 Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 I've checked every single vehicle that we've been shown, and no gas tank (gas cap). This pissed me off in IV and I guess V will be the same. Why do they choose to NOT include that? I mean, sure it would be pretty fukin annoying when you are the driver and a few bullets to the rear quarter panel blows you up..but they don't have to make it blow up instantly. R* are innovative, but apparently not innovative to do what you said and make a shot to the gas canister result in flames which explode only after a little while, ultimately giving the player time to escape. It seems too obvious to me to be a simple oversight. That'd be like if they forgot to render door handles, or something. Why would they include unique license plates, but not the simple texture image of a gas tank lid? It's not like they have to include the explosion functionality from San Andreas. I'm so confused, R*. Well, this isn't reality, is it? It's a game, therefore cars can explode like that. Dmos, if you have a gun and feel like paying for bullet hole damages, you can go right ahead and shoot my cars gas tank to see it explodes. You can even use your dads gun if you don't have your own. Petrol starts pouring out. You weave left and right, spraying the Blista with the fuel, and throw a lit matchstick at the car.
