Anyway Try external mic Use the build in recorder to test if mic is working or not. Have you mute your mic, or mute the mic volume in control panel Is the mic you're using, the default mic? Stinky12 Posted March 14, 2013 Share Posted March 14, 2013 Go to control panel and open up the recording tab. Under there, there should be a few microphones. Tap on your microphone ot see if the volume bar will respond. If yes, then your mic is working. And I've asked for brand name of computer along with model number.
