saintsrow
People can talk about "realism" in games but GTA will never have more than maybe 10% "realism". The only thing "kinda" close is the driving, and even that isn't really close. The whole game is unrealistic as fuk. What part about "losing" the cops in a city the size of what maybe 10 square miles? Please, you think your going to out run a heli in a car? Healing yourself? Take 1 or 2 or more bullets and keep on running. Have amazing aim. Jumping cars hundreds of feet and being living, let alone not getting hurt or destroying your car. GTA will never be realistic. It would instantly become lame as hell. I agree, and I think yours is the first post in this topic that actually addresses what the OP intended. It's not about glitches at all. In the HD era, we want "realistic" car physics, "realistic" ragdoll and Euphoria physics, and "realistic" landscape (that necessarily must all be built by hand and not repeated cheaply like in True Crime LA and many other games). There are many (a huge number) of realistic world simulation functions that would make the game hard to play, or boring. Realistic length of day and night would of course be no fun. And realistic pitch blackness at night is something that I think only the fringe players want. Realistic flight simulation would be a lot harder than simply pushing the stick like we do now. It's hard to keep a plane or helicoptor in the air while maneuvering it wildly, without a big learning curve. I will think of some more later. Supernutz40
I hope for aliens in GTA V. I hope for more swingset-like glitches. I hope for insane car customization. I hope when you fly full speed in a Hydra and jump out over the water, you skip like a stone across that ocean. Yes, all of this. Perfect blend of fun and realism(skipping on the water). The aliens thing I dunno about actual aliens in the game. Maybe a conspiracy type radio show or station talking about them which could lead into a mission or two for the radio host. But I don't know about them really being in the game. I would actually like that, but I think I would be one of the few on that one. @saintsrow- Exactly. Your hit the nail on the head there my friend.
Dick Valor
Says a lot about IV that the swings were half the reason I continued to play it for as long as I did. Says a lot about you actually.
