StadiaMania Posted March 8, 2013 Share Posted March 8, 2013 Since the first day trailer two came out I was convinced that the military base they are to replicate will be 29 Palms MCCAGC (United States Marine Corps Base), which is located about an two hours east of LA in Yucca Valley. It's existence even goes unnoticed by people who live in the near cities, so i'm not surprised at it not being brought up before. I'm stationed here as an M1A1 Abrams Tanker, and I believe that it would be a logical and realistic spot to incorporate the Rhino tanks into GTAV (given R*'s depth of research). We have an airstrip here, not much of one, but one nonetheless. I'm sure R* will implement aircraft accordingly. Of course I could be wrong, as this is entirely speculation. But it is pretty interesting and exciting to see the similarities between what we've seen in the trailer so far and what the surroundings out here actually look like.
