If we postpone this announcement with the release date now, it falls on May for release in September. Logically the next news should be the jacket around the month of May. 3some Posted March 7, 2013 Share Posted March 7, 2013 i don't care about the news anymore (i think we've actually had enough information) i just want to play the game as soon as possible. and for f**k's sake i hope that there wouldn't be another delay. if there's any information i really want, it would be some "real" screenshots of the console version. by "real" i mean without any post-processing so i can have an idea of how the game will actually look like on a console. They may not want to show us the stuff that was meant for the lead up to GTA V's release, because it will still be used that exact same way in a few months, like you said. June is E3 so I think R* will give us a little something to coungen focus. First multiplayer details or a new preview in July. First campaign footage with trailer 3 in August. Sept launch. IV's was a little worse though because it was more or less delayed indefinitely. Rockstar announced an exact release date for GTA V but that doesn't mean it's set in stone. Delays can always happen but the question would be why GTA V was delayed by four months? Is it because they only needed a couple of months more time to 'polish the game' but the middle of the summer is a bad time to release a AAA-title or do they really need the four additional months for polishing? If it's the latter one then a delay is still possible but we would've to know the reason for the delay. Well the box art reveal was already delayed on the day when the September 17th release date was announced. Who knows, maybe the first thing that Rockstar will do to indicate that they continue the marketing, is revealing the box art.
