Just add oyster from the front page, then join the Europe East 3 Server. Once your in the main menu, go to your friends list and click on oyster. Join the region he created in his 'games' or so. Wouldn't mind trying to get a geat work on the go if somone has a spare million floating about. In terms of changing your city I would imagine a small redesighn of just a small chunk of your city to begin with would be the best approach. Real citys would knock down a small area to redevelope and wouldn't just smash down the entire city in one mass swoop. Had i not been short on cash i would have had a sewage outflow pipe too but instead i'm sending it to a neighbor in stead. Also i'm currently sending my trash to your city. Just FYI. OysterBarron Posted March 23, 2013 Author Share Posted March 23, 2013 This time around i'm controling the density of my city via road upgrades and it seems to keep the city expanding at a controllable rate. the high speed rail line is operating pretty well, but will need some more power to steal from one of you soon 48mw is only just enough to keep my city ticking over at the moment! It is killing me because it always seems to happen after I make some sort of drastic change. Like just now I leveled my two casinos, municipal bus depot and a bunch of other stuff in order to extend the rail line to a trade depot. Lots of changes, that cost lots of money...and than it always says my city isn't processing correctly and it does a role back. I have on a sandbox region where my city as well as my spaceport great work has disappeared. i know it's annoying hopefully they fix it. @ the general i was going to ask if anyone has considered making a university. I've also got a fully functioning recycle center with maximum trucks i have sent 4 to your city trip and dispersed all but 2 of them to the other citys in our part of the region! Yeah, I agree. Though isn't the archology the most expensive? The Solar farm would be good for energy though, and the airport for more tourists. And yeah, my tech level is maxed out right now. I was going to chime in and see what ya'll though about it and how the hell we make it work. Anyway. I then walked away and left my city on. I forgot all about it while I got distracted without something around my house. I came back to sh*t city with almost everything on fire and all hell breaking loose. I created a new city in region 2 a while ago and managed to get a good start thanks to a gift from Parcel Forcington (Jay? I had the cash flow to increase Firefighting and Police but i was also dealing with a health crisis, transportation issue, water issue, and oil storage issue all at the same time lol. Everything is fixed now and my city Greenacres Isle is actually not as yellow or brown any more. I've started to respecialize-ish. I'm still producing oil and selling it and using it as power but i'm working on a gorgeous residential and Commercial district. I've actually started eliminating my industrial to replace it with parks and either residential or commercial. $$$ my Income is 16k but with expenses my profit is 3 to 6k depending on traffic/police/fire/health issues. If I send any cars out, who the hell knows when(if ever) I'll see them again. Dag nab it - now I'm going to have to jump in and play so as to grab a pic. e: TUBBS...ya see that? That is 4 lanes of dead stop traffic from your city going into my city. Lucky if anyone gets through there on the way to Oysterbarron's place too. Ahwell. I hooked you guys up with some cops and firetrucks. Some hazmat trucks even. Least I can do since I have been using your water and shipping you my sewage. But hey, I have nuclear power - enough to spare. Another edit: First off I'm straight up sober right now...but I just held my mouse wheel in and tried to pan that screen to the left so I could see Oyster's city. Couldn't figure out what was broken. Its not got (mostly) high density residential and commercial with 0 industry other than my oil field and its accessories. And my police force is more than adequate to handle any scum that comes from your area. 90% of the prisoners in my jails are from your town lmao.
