Just like thoughts of attacking the Main land U.S. Where does the bomb(s) actually need to be delivered. I vote for two or three sea ports, That would put a stopper in U.S. trade, at least for a month or two. Anybody ever see the movie "Special Bulletin"? All I can think of at the moment are Blackadder and Ali G. I don't even think a nuke would be necessary even in the worst conditions. They've got a large military, the mechanized part of which is most likely painted-over rust, and their soldiers are completely green with no experience. Well, the important thing is that you made a stand for your homeland on an internet forum while providing absolutely nothing toward the conversation at hand. @Esco: I think he should grow it out some more. This whole situation might be taken a lot less seriously if we all were dealing with the Korean equivalent of Chris Reid. There'd be a lot more house parties in Pyongyang. Luckily looks like most of it is middle schoolers with no comprehension of military power and people just taking the piss. Come on. They're North Korea. They are mostly a threat to South Korea, Japan, and possibly China if they ever realize they're just a puppet. Not to downplay the threat they could pose to the people of those countries as I wouldn't like even a sub-hiroshima weapon flying at my local municipality, however wobbly. The best I see them doing is hitting one or two cities in one of the aforementioned countries with what amounts to an atomic firecracker OR capturing the South Korean capital of Seoul. That's their high watermark. The subsequent military annihilation kinda puts a damper on that but hey maybe they want to go out with a bang. Personally, I still think North Korea is one of the most avoidable conflicts in the world. All you have to do is create a route to reunification that maintains the dignity of the North Korean government while also reprimanding those most responsible for whatever human rights abuses are ongoing such as internment camps or the general state of awfulness North Koreans enjoy. There was a video on the ABC news channel showing missiles and weapons in North Korea, and how North Korea sent out a few short range missiles to test. According to some test of missile ranges, North Korea has missiles that can reach the U.S. Now, they just have to be brave enough to try and send one to U.S.'s west coast.
