I once jumped off a 200ft building in Just Cause 2 and survived, so yeah, it's possible to survive a fall from that height.

Yes - He died.

But as always ... He will be respowned in the hospital like in previous grand theft auto games

That's such a bullsh*t objective. That is something you would have in a more linear game with checkpoints, not a sandbox game like GTA where you would have to drive back to the missions start, do the mission again, and then hope you jump at the right time this time.

I want to shoot, stab, slash, dual-wield, talk on the phone, text, surf the web, check my email, flip the bird, take a piss, shout a taunt, scratch my balls and tie my shoes while falling.

Trevor survives but loses his memory. Now he doesn't remember that he was actually an undercover cop planted to frame Michael since last few years. But his memory does come back to him after 80% completion of storyline. :-O
