Did Trevor survive the fall?

If you remember back in Trailer 2, Trevor jumped from the roof of a moving train, that was going over the bridge. Could Trevor have survived that fall, or was that the last we'll ever hear of Trevor?

Well tought out... I agree with WildBrick142, maybe he just fell in the water. Anyway I don't think he dies, I mean, dying in a cutscene? Only if it's some sort of "Mission Failed" cutscene, but that is very unlikely to be the case.

But seriously, he probably landed in the river. Luis Lopez (ceiling height was increased in TBOGT) could survive a huge fall into water. In real life, it would've been like hitting solid ground. GTA is a parody of real life & that includes the physics, which are more like movie physics.

I think he survived anyway. In IV I teleported myself out of the game's sky border (no godmode) and fallen straight into water. Survived. So I guess that he survived. R* would'nt want to kill off main characters in GTA during the story when you control them.

As people said above, it's probably intended that he hits the water in the river. Then I assume that the same rules apply as in GTA IV / TBOGT, where I can jump Luis out of a helicopter at any height and land in the water with no loss of health. Game physics...

 

But in GTAV, I think what will actually happen is that when he jumps, just where they cut off the scene in the trailer, they will break for a commercial, at which moment they will pop up a dialog box saying "Switch either to __ Franklin or __ Michael" either of which will be sitting by their respective pools, drinking a Pisswasser. When you later switch back to Trevor, you will find him busting heads in a redneck country bar. Situation resolved.

Of course it is, it's pretty common in most areas even in my home town in the Dominican Republic.

In The Ballad of Gay Tony, we see Luis in a plane where half of it explodes and he parachutes out of it - and you're worried about Trevor dying the second he hits the water because it might have been a bit too high? Please.

Seriously if you did the same thing with him during regular gameplay, he wouldn't really die for good so it doesn't make sense to kill him this way. (or any other way now that i think about it.)
