junkpile Posted March 18, 2013 Share Posted March 18, 2013 Grand Theft Auto is Take-Two's and Rockstar Games' most successful game series, I don't think they would stop it anytime soon. Finally the last moron realized another GTA won't come out in the next 6-7 years after GTA V. That is a highly unlikely case. Even if Rockstar San Diego would have trouble again with one of their games so that the Rockstar North studio would've to help in the development again as they did with Red Dead Redemption, I highly doubt that it will take that long until the next GTA releases. The programming of the new consoles will be less of a pain compared to the current console-generation, according to Ubisoft and some articles, so chances are that the development of videogames will take less time in the [near] future. If that's the case then we could expect another GTA in 3-4 years perhaps. Remember: Table Tennis was the first Rockstar title this console generation and it was released in May 2006. The next title after it was GTA IV which was released in April 2008 after a six months delay. No offense, but your predictions last year were all false. You created topics that were giving hope, cuz you seemed all determined about it. I lost my faith in your wild predictions. And you can sum up some fiscal statistic and mention names of developers like you got intern info, but you know, you don't. Kwabs Posted March 19, 2013 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Considering that electricity is getting more expensive every year, I 'll place my bet on one or two more GTA games before the gaming industry 'll colapse in about 10-15 years because electricity gets too expensive for normal people, to be wasted on things like video games.
