Inked. Posted March 5, 2013 Share Posted March 5, 2013 So I got my new rig, and I've been trying to install GTA IV. But I keep getting the wtv 190 error because Games For Windows Live isnt installed. However, Ive reinstalled the game twice but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? (Already tried compatability runs) Heard an opp got killed, watch me do my dance. Posted March 5, 2013 Author Share Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) Did, result being: Edit: Actually, the TitleUpdate.msi didnt work (As you can see), but the UpdateTitle (Modified icon/application) did. So Imma install .net and test. Edit V2: Alright, so I've managed to do all that, and the update and stuff worked. However, when I attempted to start the game, it asked me if I wanted to sign in. I pressed enter to say yes, multiple times, but it refused to do anything. But heres what I got this last try: http://i.imgur.com/J5c7GfN.png I started GTA, but chose offline for Social Club, and then I started the game. Got close, it even said Staring a new game in the bottom right and then The Cousins Bellic, but it stayed black as it loaded. It loaded the audio aswell and was playing the cutscene audio. Last night, tried a few options and just before I was about to rage quit, I uninstalled GFWL and downloaded it again from their site and tried it. Somehow it worked, not sure why, but I will not complain. As long as it continues to work, I should be good. I hope things like trainer/LCPDFR/mods dont mess it up and make me have to reinstall.
