GTASAddict
Dozens (if not hundreds) of users requesting that others complete missions for them. Why does no one seek advice anymore, but instead would rather be lazy? Completing a mission for someone is comparable to fishing for someone instead of teaching them to fish. Likewise, it's comparable to a teacher doing their students homework. Please refrain from taking offense to my inquiry; for I'm just curious. lil weasel
Not necessarily lazy, as such. Impatient more likely. When the game came out on Consoles there was no way for someone else to do the missions unless it was a neighbour. Now that the Saves can be transmitted it became easier. Considering how many Players use cheats to be able to continue through the game the idea of the really lazy players having someone else do the 'work' becomes more prevalent. It irks me when a help seeker says, “I don’t want to bother (or waste MY time) doing it. Or, “I want a 100% game (to brag about but don’t/can’t do it myself.) Many players believe (wrongly) that only [snP] requests are allowed here.
DarrinPA
When I first came to the forum there were many people who requested help, specifically stating that they didn't want to just skip it by posting a saved game. I enjoyed helping when I could, but I think people who need help now just go to youtube to see how it's done instead of having people trying to describe it through text on a forum. That's my best guess.
Space Cowboy
I agree with you, I much rather see that someone is asking for advice rather than just posting savefile. It takes some time but after few tries you will be able to complete mission yourself.
The Odyssey
The reason why I joined this forum is because i needed help with the mission Cesar Vialpando on PC. I asked for advice, then realized you could just get someone to do it for you. As tempting as it sounds, I refused. Its kinda sad to see my mission advice topics name, lined up with all these [snp] topics. I kinda liked it better in 2004 when you just got help from your brother or went on a massacre after failing a mission. to the people who do the missions, it must get old having to do the same hard missions over and over again
lil weasel
With repeated replaying of a tough mission it becomes easier. And, with replaying each mission you can test different approaches to it.

I remember the trouble I had with some missions back when I played SA. I would never ask for help beating them, it takes away from the fun IMO.
