GTASAddict
Was a silencer remotely necessary during the Ice Cold Killa mission? CJ confronts (and yells at) Jizzy in front of his clientele, so what was the point of concealing the sound of gunshots using a silenced 9mm pistol? lil weasel
This mission (as in Madd Dogg's Rhymes) that you 'need' the Silenced Pistol. Many players, especially those new to the game, don't realize that they can Change the weapon to the Desert Eagle on CJ's way to the Battery. I usually go to Zero's shop's alley to get the DE. The Silenced Pistol is only good during some missions (Vertical Bird) since it really doesn't work elsewhere.
Mitsuha
They said that in the cut version of Ice Cold Killa, Cesar originally gave CJ a Deagle.
GTASAddict
Come to think of it, a silenced Desert Eagle would have been splendid (if it existed in the game), assuming CJ used it without nullifying the purpose of the silencer.

Mitsuha
There is the Las Venturas mafia. Uhhh..... Please tell me were you saw em'? By using the territory glitch. Then they will spawn around Caligula's. In the original game, they can only be seen as guards outside of missions. They were gang members in the beta version. GTASAddict
A question about Tenpenny's role with the gangs. After Tenpenny tipped Ryder & CJ about the train, they sought the train which resulted in a run-in with the Vagos & Ballas. That means he tipped the Ballas & Vagos too. Evidently, he was pitting the gangs against each other, so why didn't he tip the Aztecas about the train too, thus bringing them into the equation? How would things be different if they were tipped and joined the shootout? Edited April 18, 2013 by GTASAddict
lil weasel
Tenpenny has said that he wants to keep the power even between the various gangs. When the balance tips he adjusts it. Such as when CJ gets too powerful with the OGs we got the "Green Sabre" results.
Satourn
Tenpenny wanted to stop the gangs and try to begin a gang war by calling Vagos, Ballas and Grove Street Families on a train, that's my point of view. I don't think that Aztecas were strong as Ballas or Vagos in Tenpenny's opinion, that's why he didn't tell them about the train. Plus, I don't think he had any ties with them, unlike other gangs. But the second question is pretty interesting. Aztecas joining the shootout could change the whole storyline.

--Vega--
Because Italian Mobsters don't hang out in the streets like the inner city gangs in Los Angeles and San Fran. Would look weird having the game version of Las Vegas as a gang-land.
GTASAddict
Why did the Ballas use a Green Sabre? 1. They flaunted a rival color (obviously) 2. They used a rival car (Rifas drive Sabres) Was it an attempt at framing the Rifas? But Rifa colors are Blue, not Green. This makes zero sense to me. lil weasel
Wearing the Enemies 'colours' (flag or uniform) isn't anything unusual when making a raid in enemy territory.
Spider-Vice
You touched the spot nearly. It was probably an attempt to make someone from the Grove guilty, thus making it fall apart. Node
You touched the spot nearly. It was probably an attempt to make someone from the Grove guilty, thus making it fall apart. This still doesn't clarify why they were using the Sabre if that's the Rifa Gang car?
OG Viking
The suggested reasons for using a green car sounds plausible. But why a Sabre? If they wanted to make it look like Grove civil war, they could have used a Greenwood, Savanna or Voodoo. But maybe they took a Sabre because a Sabre was available? By the way, when CJ says "that's the motherf*ck'n Green Sabre!", the Sabre is not yet visible from his position. It's not out of the garage yet, I'm pretty sure he can't even see the tail lights. lil weasel
Remember it's a game... Many things occur in the Game that don't make sense if thought out. Like in the scene CJ gets into the passenger seat, but when the scene shows him he is in the drivers seat. • Don't think too deeply into anything about the game or actions. Many a movie/TV show requires brainless following of the action or they are just plain silly. It's called "goin' with the flow". A great many of the mysteries in this game can only be answered by Rockstar staff and they ain't talkin'. So in the end all we have is a Players supposition (guess) of what might be... GTASAddict
Ballas using a Green Sabre to attack Grove Street is like the Aztecas using a Yellow Tahoma to attack the Vagos.
ExtremoMania
Ballas using a Green Sabre to attack Grove Street is like the Aztecas using a Yellow Tahoma to attack the Vagos. True, making anyone think that they raid themselves using the enemies gang color and vehicle is form of deception.
GTASAddict
Would Vagos attack the Aztecas using a purple (Ballas colors) Broadway (Aztecas car)? See how it makes zero sense (logically) at all?
Zizo008
That doesn't make sense. However, for me it's logical the way R* did it. In reallife, i don't think gangs have specific cars. Color is just enough to get in the 'hood unnoticed.
GTASAddict
Was parachuting out of a plane (A Home In The Hills) necessary? I suppose parachuting out of the plane and landing on the mansion was to carryout a surprise attack, but wasn't the surprise ruined when gunfire sounded? Would silenced pistols have been more appropriate here instead of the triads using M4's? Edited April 18, 2013 by GTASAddict
GTASAddict
Why did Ballas, Vagos & Rifas team up during End Of The Line? I understand why GSF & Aztecas teamed up during Los Desperados; I understand why GSF & Triads teamed up during Breaking The Bank At Caligulas & A Home In The Hills, but why did Ballas, Vagos & Rifas team during End of the Line? lil weasel
It's the game, a reason to use a feature, nothing more. A lot of the missions approaches in this game are just plain silly. There are much more sensible ways to do them, but then you wouldn't have a game to play.
