JB94
I'll start by saying it's design isn't that bad overall and I think parts of it look beautiful. It does pay reference to classic Bentley saloon/ sedan styling, but I think its design heads a bit too much in the direction of the Mulsanne. Â Maybe it's just me, but I preferred its design when it had the name "Continental Flying Spur", because it was more unique as a four door executive saloon/ sedan. It was good looking, and in terms of Bentley design it was innovative as well, not quite sharing the design characteristics that defined past executive car models produced by Bentley. Â Â The older model; Â Â The press release for the new model is too long so I cannot quote it, what is the opinion of you guys on the design of the new Flying Spur. sivispacem
Wow, a whole topic for one mediocre car?  Yeah, I can't see this lasting long. Kifflom112
Ugh. That does not look good. Unlike the new Maserati Quattroporte, I do not see this design growing on me at all. It's design looks very questionable to me. Looks mediocre. Very disappointed.
Outcast
Sivis has a point. This doesn't deserve its own thread especially when theres the Car Talk Topic. Â I don't know though, I think it looks pretty damn nice the more I look at it.

Kifflom112
Now that I'm seeing this on my laptop, it looks a little better but I'm still not really feeling it. Just doesn't look right to me. The older Flying Spur(though not something I would think of buying if I were wealthy) looked kind of nice and appeared very regal in structure. It was a posh looking car. The new Continental GT got redesigned quite some time ago and it looked nice. But it just doesn't look right on the Flying Spur. It looks bloated and it just looks like a smaller Bentley Mulsanne - personally don't like that as I don't particularly like it when manufacturers make smaller versions of better cars. Carlover325
Oh, lol. My bad. I can see the text better now that I'm on my laptop rather than my phone. I do like the rear of the new one better. I googled and found this for a front shot: Â Doesn't look too different, just a little bit sleeker .

AZAZEL
There's something off about those rear lights. They just look... tacky. Dunno, might be that chrome edge, it think they would have looked better without it. The frontal fascia looks fine, it's just the rear I don't like. And the rear passenger window design is also iffy.
Sup3rman
At first i thought there was a new Å koda on the picture, Rapid or the new Octavia That is because of the rear lights. They look very similar. Arent there any more pics?
GTAfan786
Rear lights look awesome. Highly underrated car for some reason, but i think the front is too tacky.
visionist
The first handsome Benters since the Arnage (Brooklands aside) and the first rebodied Phaeton I'd actually buy. Old one looked frumpy and had size alone to grant it presence. This is a world apart. Those oval lights will look spot on cruising Knightsbridge. Â Â F*cking Badass. Â Too bad about the regurgitated interior.
epoxi
I do think this is a step in the right direction. Â The 2003 Continentals had very attractive rear lights, but as the car's lines were sharpened while retaining its bulky frame the GT and Flying Spur starting looking a bit awkward. Â This redesign is attractive, but still unique and fresh (although it does remind me a bit of a '90s Aston Martin).

Outcast
If I could, I would. Will probably trade in my current Bentley for this. Probably won't for awhile though as I've earmarked a bunch of cash to renovate my new 5000 sq ft apartment here in China (finally moving out of my parents house!) Â Â What I absolutely love is how they've made it much more angular. The view of the grill in the second picture reminds me a little of the new XJ-L. Outcast
Â cash to renovate my new 5000 sq ft apartment here in China 5000 square feet? For an apartment? Dude that's bigger then my house! Like more then twice as big! Well it's actually three apartments but I'm knocking all the connecting walls down to make it one massive apartment. I'm doing all the paperwork for it now and once thats completed it shouldn't be more than a month or two before the apartment is ready to move in. So basically after I go back to London at the end of next month and come back, it'll be ready (and of course I'll share pics with you guys). Â EDIT: I know it's super off-topic and for that I'm terribly sorry but heres the layout. Â Edited March 21, 2013 by Outcast
