Woman protag as GTA V DLC?

Okay, so throughout the years we've seen strong female characters in GTA games, but that's as far as it goes. As a girl, I like playing as guys, but it would be super awesome to kick some ass as a woman. And for you guys, what could be better than playing as a hot chick? Put your opinions out there chaps!

This could be a great addition to the GTA series, being able to play as a woman. I honestly don't see any drawbacks in this DLC idea.

I feel sorry for any women who enjoy playing Grand Theft Auto and are waiting for a female protagonist because this is something which is very unlikely to happen. In my personal opinion though it wouldn't suit the game the same way Vercetti or Niko Bellic has and will do respectively. I'm not trying to be sexist or anything but I just don't think a Female protagonist will suit the game (Personally). Also there are other things to consider such as majority of players are males. People want to play as someone they can somewhat relate too (In this case the gender of the protagonist). So if they can't many people will not buy the game.

I wouldn't mid it, and I don't see how it would really affect the game. It could potentially be very good. No doubt rockstar could create the character with realistic personality qualities and physical abilities. Also I'm sure they would create a pretty good story to surround the character.

 

The only issue I have with it being DLC is that it's an option which means that the male dominance of the audience will translate into poor sales.

 

To be honest I think a better direction would be including a female protagonist in a setup similar to that of GTA V, with three protagonists. That way it more encourages the use of the character and can give customers the chance to maybe try a bit of open-mindedness.

But in all seriousness, I don't have an issue with it, I would say give the player a choice between a male or female protag. The only issue I see with that would be the cut scenes obviously. But if they used a unisex name for the protag that would make it easier on them. I think its inevitable that it is going to happen sometime in future GTA titles.

How about we get back on topic? Who care's if she's a troll, it's still a legitimate question of whether DLC should feature different characters considering the main game already has 3 guys. News is slow so why can't we just discuss it? Obvious kitchen jokes are obvious, considering us females are gems amongst the male GTAF population

 

Personally, I am not bothered about the gender. Majority of games have male leads so I'm used to playing as them; but it would be good for Rockstar, who are known for breaking boundaries, to just let us play as a girl for once.
