Falling down the hill

From looking at the screenshots you can tell there are some steep hills and mountains. I hope that when the characters run or walk onto uneven ground they face plant and start rag dolling down the hill. It annoyed me that when you play IV and you walk off a cliff the characters would fall straight down on what looked like invisible steps in jagged jerky movements. I know this is a small detail at this point but I for one will have hours of fun testing out this feature.

I really have faith that some sort of rock climbing mechanic will be implemented in V. Seems to me that it would go hand in hand with rapelling.

I think it will be like IV, where you fall down if you go over the edge. I'm sure there will be winding roads to ascend the mountains like in RDR.

Hopefully you will be able to slide down steep surfaces like in RDR, until it becomes too steep or uneven so you fall.

This walking against a rock surface or steep hill and making steps in the air etc,

i have never seen a game where this has been handled better than f.e. GTA IV.

i would be real surprised if this fixed in V.

I think that's what will happen on steep slopes, but I'd like the tumbling animation to kick in on near vertical ones.

One thing that did impress me in IV, was the ability to climb virtually anything. Even some of the rock faces by the seashore were scalable.

Yeah, one of the things IV did better than RDR was climbing.
