It costs a small fortune and months of time to apply and get a permit and even then you're mostly allowed a pistol that cannot be taken out of the residence which pretty much renders it almost useless. On a serious note, I agree w/Mr. Mister. New York is overrated and full of arrogant "tough guys/gals" that think they single-handedly keep American culture afloat. In fact, much of the industry and influence in our country is shifting away from the NE United States. The generations that made New York great are long gone. Times are a changin'. *Not all NYers are like this of course. Just a good bit of them carry that smug vibe. The woman who attacked the Serbian isn't even from New York, she's from Washington state.
