Nope. I was thinking about it a lot until the 31st of January, but we all know that story. This is my 2nd or 3rd time back on the forums since then.

I visit GTAF daily just like before the announced date/delay, but I no longer think about V when I'm not on the forum. Well I do, but very rarely. Before the delay, I thought about V at least once a day and had a dream about V at least once a month. Now all that is gone.

 

Still, at least time's passing. It's comforting to know this. To know that it is inevitable for us all to be playing GTAV, eventually. The year is already 1/6 over. By the time GTAV comes out, the year will be 4.5/6 over. So we only have 3.5/6 of a year until V...

To be honest I'm hyped for Tiger Woods 14, coming 26th March, it's gonna be the best golf game ever, at the end of the Ps3 with maxed out game physics, can't wait! GTA V for me is like it's just sitting on a dusty shelf somewhere (not happening there)

Ever since PS4 was announced, I don't really care about this game. If it came out this spring then I would care. But since it's coming out right about the time the PS3 will become irrelevant, I don't care much anymore. Rockstar really dropped the ball this time. Hopefully they port it to the new systems. Otherwise, this game is pretty much worthless.

Are you excited about the full golfing mini-game that will be featured in V. What did you think of the driving range in TBOGT & how does it compare with a Tiger Woods game? I'm surprised Rockstar didn't utilize the 'mini golf' putting course in Firefly Island, but then I suppose the whole place was meant to be closed.

Rarely. I'm hardly on these forums either. No reason to think about something thats coming in fall and we're still in winter. Besides, warm weather is coming soon and that will give me a lot to do until Fall.

Fact, in my area there was like 17 degrees C today, and it'll be getting better, anyway im going back to my homeland at the begining of july, so we have lots of time until V. But let's hope the time will go fast

Nothing has changed since GTA V was delayed in late January, I'm still thinking about the game relatively often and I'm talking with my friends about it. Well I'm still visiting this forum on daily basis but now not only because of GTA V but because of the older games of the series and also the General Chat is a nice read.

I've unfollowed R* on twitter and facebook after they've postponed the game. I do not want these Max Payne and other gameposts any more. My hype is gone. I will of course buy V. Now I only come here once in a while (every second day or so) to check if something happens…

To be honest I only found this forum by accident and I only joined it so I could vote in the polls and for GTA V info. But after a short period of time I started coming to this forum for other reasons than GTA V info for example I usually take part in other parts of the forum especially the mission help forum these days. I barely even think about GTA V anymore since it's just so long away especially for me because I'm going to have to wait even longer since I'm a PC gamer so there's that.

I think I'm one of the people who are still quite hyped for GTA V. Simply because of all the statements Rockstar has made about it so far, saying it was going to be the biggest map we have seen in a GTA game so far. I played San Andreas on my PS3 these days, and seeing how large SA's map is, this is one of the reasons that makes me hyped.

 

Another reason is because of the endless possibilites of stuff to do in multiplayer. If even now, 5 years after GTA IV was released, I have quite some fun in the Multiplayer, just think about how much I'll have in V. A massive map, improved graphics, jet dogfights, the largest amount of vehicles in a GTA game so far, it just makes me happy thinking that such a massive game will exist.

 

And for those of you that lost your hype after R* delayed GTA V, think that we spent over an year without a release date at all. Now that you have one, you're complaining. A lot of people thought that V was gonna be released in 2012, well, it didn't, and people still were extremely anxious about the game. Now that it'll come out in September, we have a TRUE release date. Just think that we had to wait two years between the announcement and the release. We've past 3/4 of the waiting. And what if R* is giving us another info drought? They revealed the game's "basic" features, they want to let your imagination to do all the work of building your concept of the game. That's what I did and I've never lost my hype =).

Because I occasionally walk past the Rockstar North building in Edinburgh, I do sometimes get reminded of GTA V.

 

However, since the Second Trailer, the Game Informer Reveal and the confirmed release date in September it is much less 'agonising' walking past R* North. It was mental torture walking past that building, knowing the game you were waiting for was being developed there and you knew so little about it!

 

The release date was what really got me thinking less about GTA V. I couldn't care less for the delay (I was actually pleased about it) and I cannot sympathise with those that are STILL upset with it - I was just relieved a date was finally confirmed!

I still think about it, but not as much as I used to do, there is no reason to have the hype level at 100%+ right now, my hype will be back at late may/early june when R* will probably restart the marketing campaing with the box art or a new trailer announcement, so for now, forget about the game because we won´t be seeing nothing from R* for some months.

Today I thought about GTA overall. Everything it tought me with driving helped me great at my car theory exam today. Yep, I passed my theory exam my 1st try today!

It is not cancelled. The game is too far into production and a highly anticipated game like GTA V would not just be thrown away.
