universetwisters Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 I know this probably doesn't deserve it's own thread, but I found it, and it seems absolutely nuts, so I'm gonna post it anyway, see if any of you guys can help make sense of it: I've been trying to sift through this guy's more than 2000 videos(many of them are hours long) looking for any interesting details about this guy's life and I've managed to find what looks like him recording at a family reunion or something similar at his(most likely his parents') home. From what I gather his name is Chris, he lives in Tasmania, and he appears spend his days making episodes of Thomas the Tank Engine from his own transcripts using model trains and even toys from Dr Who. He also records himself reading childrens' book while dressed in a Gumby suit. What really bugs me most is his disturbing voice. In all his earlier videos his voice sounds normal. But in all of his latest videos sounds as if his tongue was cut out. I'm still trying to find out when this began. Here's one of his earlier videos in which he mentions the project he and his mother are working on. As you'll notice his voice here sounds relatively normal. Also notice the child-like handwriting. At around 24:00 when he finishes making one of his Thomas the Tank Engine episodes, it cuts to the suspected family reunion footage. Some minutes later he shows an older man and woman his model trains after another man asks "if they've seen the trains yet?" After showing them, he begins using a typewriter while recording himself. The man and woman walk out the door after when he begins doing this. What do you guys think about this? EDIT: Probably should note that I Copy Pasted from some 4chan thread, because it really made me think, and maybe it could make you think too. Either he does have legit autism or a similar disorder, or he's a master actor who's trying to confuse us all by making these videos. There are tons of youtubers who do their sh*t without much of a cause. A few months ago I came across this kid who's really obsessed with Disney and Animaniacs and stuff like that and he makes maybe 3-4 videos a week with ~10 views on each, he still talked to the camera like thousands of people were watching (Won't share the link, little kids don't need their videos to be shared on forums). You don't need an audience to have fun with what you're doing. Besides, if he was a "master actor" would he really be spending his life (I saw that at least three videos were put up yesterday, and he has about twenty-six thousand) doing this with an average of maybe ten views every video and no comments?
