Do you have any patches, tools, tweaks or more importantly mods installed? Is it crashing or just won't run? If the former, what's the error code given every time it crashes? Windwos 8 64 bit I have latest gfwl patch and gta4 title patch it loads mission in my case is bull in a china shop then it says "gta4 not repsponging, windows is finding a soltuion to the problem, then it closes Also tho when i hit task manager it shows something to may be my problem my computer is 64 bit and in task manager the game is 32 bit... My computer specs: Windows 8 intel ® core i5-3330 cpu @ 3.00 ghs 6.00 gb of ram 1000gb harddrive 2gb nvida graphics card Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Besides, you should uninstall the game, delete the install folder and then reinstall. Try this. And why do you believe that having xliveless means losing your save file? Or did I understand it wrong?
