These debates about GTA make no sense when its the parents fault for buying the game for their kids in the first place. Seriously they should worry with themselves and their actions and lies and leave adults live life their way. The game is for adults but even with that rating they still think it's too much violence, like everyone in this world is too sensible and stupid to understand a game and real life. After doing so I really want a monster truck to finish it off. Through the use of a monster truck I can smear the raped, bloody corpse into the pavement and crush each and every bone in their delicate body; whilst doing so I want to hear each and every bone crack as well as the squirt of collapsing organs onto the asphalt. After destroying the evidence by smashing them with the monster truck I want to feed the remnants of my victim to Chop, watch him crap them out then burn the crap. If GTA:V doesn't let me do each and every part of that list then I'll be highly disappointed and go to Rockstar's Edinburgh HQ and burn it to the ground. Sounds like fun. They should go all out, f*ck it. Since we waited this long. Make it the most violent game ever, just to piss the media off. I want bodies to pile up and make a river of blood in the streets. Then I steal a canoe and ride the crimson waters to my getaway. Your therapist has nothing to answer for. Also f*ck the Australian government. Even though we FINALLY have R18+ games, the government is still f*cked. In germany, you can easily and legally import uncut versions, and if GTA V gets cut here, I´d definitely would wait 2 days more to have the gameplay experience Rockstar wanted me to have. I think of there actually being a reason for parents to keep their children from playing it. Recently there have been a lot of ideas in this sub-forum that thinks of the children. "Profanity Filter?" I saw another one about blood levels? Are you kidding me? This is Grand Theft Auto. Grand. Theft. Auto. This game is not made for kids. It is specifically designed for adults to be able to enjoy gaming as much as children do. That's what it was all about in '97, that's what it should all be now. There should be absolutely nothing to protect children in these games. They shouldn't be playing it to begin with!! If you're a smart parent, and truly believe that your child is ready to play GTA, then by all means go right ahead. But we don't need filters for these kids to be "protected" from the very thing that makes GTA GTA. The game is rated M17+ for a reason, Pegi 18. GTA is not made for children, therefore it should not be catered to children. I want violence. I want blood and gore. I want to be able to shoot a pedestrian in their head and use the severed skull as a food bowl for their pets. They're collections of pixels, and we are not hurting anything but our good standing with the police pixels in the vicinity of the pixelated game. There's no need to censor it. I want violence. Good post, and also the driving should stay realistic, like IV. But that's a thing we can't really tell before playing. I wanna see flying limbs, heads and entrails. Its like they're hedging their bets with the whole age restriction thing - they know kids will still get it so they don't want to go too over the top. At least once I want a fully over the top game with absolute total carnage, full explicit nudity, face eating, body parts everywhere, sex, drugs, cannibalism.
