BlademanX Posted April 6, 2013 Share Posted April 6, 2013 you want to carry sick fantasies that your are to scared to commit in real life, im all for taking out frustrations in GTA, but rape scenes etc and people trying to justify it by saying its because of negativity and restrictions games cant evolve..what an excuse Kinda worrying when you see silly kids who shouldnt even be playing this game suggesting rape and beheadings, is that the devil in you or tha fact you havent been outside for months, Read a book, get a job or do something more constructive with your lives....help your parents do some DIY.....or better yet get a life, until the game comes out. Seek help quick, before GTA gets banned because someone took videogames really seriously! when they replicated a beheading/rape scene and used it as a reference in court when asked why he did it. But when people even think of stuff like kicking skulls of dead people around, and enjoying it is just not normal. Even when its just a game. But whatever... EFLC built on this from GTAIV. I remember one scene in TLAD where a guy gets his throat cut (forgot who it was), and in TGOBT when Luis finds the cook's head in the box. uzi 9mm Posted April 6, 2013 Share Posted April 6, 2013 The gore needs up-dating, this is next gen we're on now, details like bullet holes in people and such should be easily possible. There are a load of next gen games on the market with display limbs being torn off. The level of detail in gta4 is impressive, but not when it comes to gore. If someone get shot with a pistol to the head, a bullet hole should be seen, if it were a shot gun I suppose the head would just mash up. Sure I've imagined killing people, but I never will because I know that it is unjust. BUT we have to remember that this is a VIDEO GAME, where none of the things in the game actually happen in real life. IF no one acted stupid, it never would happen. These "morals" argument is something a guy like Jack Thompson would use. I have to stress the fact that the games are not real, and that nothing you do in the game will directly impact anyone else... except for maybe the people standing right behind you making judgements. What I'm trying to get across here is that you should not limit in game violence because of what it would mean in real life, since it is not real life. I do have a life. you know... about 30 real life friends. And I read regularly. James Patterson's 1st to Die ongoing series is really engaging. I have a job too. That's pretty productive! You see, all the credibility in this post has fallen apart from this one paragraph. Reducing everyone who wants realistic violence in GTA V to "silly kids" loses any support to your arguments. Name calling gets you nowhere, especially when the "silly kids" are more mature than the person calling them that. My point when I made this thread was that the targeted demographic based on the ratings for GTA are people 18 and older. The people who are younger than this should have NO BEARING WHATSOEVER on GTA V's production. There should be no censorship and no violence meter. I want true violence. I want destruction. And all the news media that say GTA HYPNOTIZES your kids shouldn't be able to use this argument due to the fact that GTA was not made for kids.
