darthYENIK
Right now I'm drinking a New Castle, but I prefer Sam Adams or Guinness. I've been known to down a bottle of Jack Daniel's, but not in a long time.

Antinark
So, to you UK folks, how good is Strongbow? I've only ever had Woodchuck which I adore, but I've been wanting to try new ciders, though, in the midwest, aside from Woodchuck, cider is a bit scarce. A local bar has Strongbow on tap (the only place in the city with any kind of cider on tap, though it might not be Strongbow and instead a locally brewed brand, not sure), but I haven't been there in ages and I was wondering if it's worth it. I know Melchior said its good earlier but its really a matter of taste obviously. I for one, can't stand Strongbow, its too sweet for me I personally like my Ciders to have a more earthy taste. If you're a serious cider drinker and you're in the UK I'd have a look a some of the smaller Cider brewers, something like Stowford Press. Strongbow is cheap, sugary and commercial but that's why its so popular. Strongbow is okay on like a 32C day and you want to sip something light while you're hanging out at the beach, but more or less it tastes like cheap apple juice. Growers brand is a local cider that is equally riddled with sugar. I haven't had much that's too great in the way of cider, but I wish there were more to offer at our liquor stores. My friends took me to a really fancy tequila bar for my birthday last year and I saw the light. I was way too pissed to remember any of the brands but it all made patron taste like apple cider vinegar.
Finn 7 five 11
I've never quite understood why people go to some tacky bar and waste a sh*tload of money on drinks to "get wasted lol". I mean seriously, one you're going to some sh*tty place, spending a lot of money on some drink that tastes like a rat shat in it, then stumbling around screaming, smashing things, ruining your clothes and thinking it's fun? I really don't get it. Why can't you all just drink tropical juice like I do. It's cheaper, healthier, doesn't turn you into an obnoxious prick and it actually tastes nice. I used to say that when I was seven as well, it's okay, one day you might understand better.

Diggdydog
I don't know about the rest of you, but when I drink I tend to turn into the nicest, most sociable motherf*cker this side of Mr. Rogers. I throw out compliments like I'm giving away free candy. Funny thing, that's actually my name. Well, Mr. Rodgers (with a D ) I'm kinda the same way too. I tend to be a much more relaxed, nicer person. Of course, that all chnges if I drink too much, then I just become very depressed I'm only 17, but I feel I have an alright taste. Ciders, more towards the sweet side usually (magners, bulmers) I Quite like Whiskey, Jack Daniels is nice, but I very rarely buy it because of the cost. Oh and the fact I'd have to get someone else to buy it of course! Still, in 8 months I can buy it myself... Sailor Jerrys Rum is delicious too! Last night I had some Jägermeister for the first time. It was actually really nice. Quite a rich liquorish flavour. Had to have it with some Blue Charge (knock-off Red Bull), though as I'd accidentally burnt through all the remaining money I had. Still, there's worse ways to get drunk!
gtamann123
I really don't like anything. When I turned 18 my Dad had me drink with him. I drank 2 or 3 of those fruity Smirnoff bottles. 2 shots of Vodka and about 4-5 glasses of wine. I really didn't like any of it. The fruity Smirnoff was alright but nothing special, the Vodka burned like a bitch and was ok I guess and Wine is f*cking disgusting. So I really don't like anything alcoholic and see no reason to drink it when you can drink something just as tasty but with no alcohol in it. I have never drank since and never intend on ever drinking again. Oh yeah and I sipped some beer once at a restaurant and it was horrible. Absolutely horrible it tasted like something you would force someone to drink for torture. Edited March 3, 2013 by gtamann123
Ascer
when I go to the club they usually give me 1 free drink, so I ask the bartender to give me a mix of Mint Vodka and Sambuca in the standard cocktail glass, because it's the most alcholic cocktail they can make.
