According to the measures, Patriots' balls were way more deflated than Colts balls. Some Colts balls were just hundredths below the average.

Cowboys sign La'el Collins to a three year 1.3 mil (guaranteed) contract. Can't really complain about signing an undrafted rookie who's a first round talent, with the chance to develop, or even start his first year.

 

 

Also, about deflategate. Someone needs to roast, and honestly it should be Brady. Don't hit his pockets, hit the Patriots with suspending Tom for a game or two. It is overblown, but rules are rules, can't bend them for the Golden Boy of the NFL.

 

Anybody catch Gronks recent comments about deflategate? No? Well, he said that they can't deflate his arms or.... "Deeez nuts". Pure gold.

Also, I cannot believe Collins didn't sign with New Orleans.

I hope he doesn't get suspended at all.

Imo, that kind of punishment doesn't fit the "violation".

It also seems that they lack concrete evidence that proves Brady's involvement.

"More probable than not" isn't exactly guilty. It's more of a "he might be guilty, but we can't prove it. But we suspect it".

 

 

I don't understand why Collins signed with the Cowboys either. He'll have tougher competition for a starting job there.

Oh well, I guess he wants to go 8-8

He signed because he wants to "be apart of the greatest o-line ever". If he is as good as the scouts say, then he could take over Doug Free's Right Tackle position(with time) and as far as I'm concerned the Left Guard position is wide open if he is willing to move to guard. If he does he has one of the best tackles next to him for support. I read Cowboys sent Tony Romo himself to make a pitch to the youngster, and it worked.

Brady lied. That much is certain. That's why he'll get suspended.

 

And either way, you don't need 100% concrete proof. You just need over 50% chance. There's too many coincidences in the Wells report.

Got a update saying Brady will be suspeded for "role" in deflategate and an announcement will be made next week. At least Jimmy Gorropolo will get a chance to showcase his skills.

 

Jags 1st rounder, 3rd pick, Dante Fowler tore his ACL in first day of rookie minicamp. Done for the season. That would just suck.

If the Seahawks would've won, the catch by Kearse would be right up there for sure.

 

But one of the worst plays in Super Bowl history was the Cards Steelers just a few years ago. Interception at the goal line with 10 seconds left before halftime, and noone could push him out of bounds, that basically cost the Cardinals the game.

But it still was a let down going into half. Going for a touchdown and then let an almost 300lb LB run the ball 100 yards. Basically a 14 point swing, which they should've won. I liked Warner and hate the Steelers.

I think the evasion of the grasp of 3 defenders, to a "Jesus, help me!" lob, to a catch while only using your helmet, against a team primed to go 19-0, puts it over the hump.

 

But that's just me.

Malcolm Butler's play was better, imo. Hell, I'd even put the Santonio Holmes catch ahead of the Giants play.

 

That Giants play was maybe the luckiest, but not the greatest. I don't equate luck with greatness.

 

But you might be going by Eli standards and those standards are pretty low.

I want to start out by reminding people that I'm an Eagles fan.

 

The punishment is way too harsh.

So now, being generally aware of what's going on warrants a 4 game suspension.

Lol, imagine all the other rule violations that happens. For example, if someone get's busted for drugs. If another player is aware of a player doing drugs, should that player get suspended as well, just for being "generally aware" of it?

 

Once again, the NFL has no clue how to hand out punishment.

A similar thing happened during the Minnesota - Carolina game. One of the teams were caught altering the footballs during the game, ON CAMERA. So there was substantial evidence that time. What was their punishment? A warning from the NFL, telling them not to do that anymore. Essentially, they were told to "knock it off".

 

Why didn't anyone get upset about the "cheating" in that game? Because it was Carolina and Minnesota. Nobody cares about it because it's two sh*t teams who hasn't been winning much lately.

But people hate the Pats because they are a successful franchise.

Double standard is all I see here.

 

Hopefully Brady wins the appeal.
