It'd be nice if they just added another expansion team, but I don't know how all that works.

It would really screw a lot of the scheduling up. Because one division would have 5 teams and the rest would still have 4

That would never happen.

They just need to keep it the way it is.

If the stadium goes through, one of the teams would have to move conferences.

Which is why I said it won't happen.

If they want to put a team in LA just move the Raiders back or two stadiums, 4 games in Oakland 4 in LA. lol

Well, I'd assume a division was short handed before the Texans came into the league. If the NFL wanted a team in LA so badly, they'd make a expansion team and keep other teams be.

Exactly what I'm saying. It's a ruse. Maybe not for Oakland, but for San Diego and St Louis. What they're doing is pointing a gun at an unsuspecting LA, telling their current cities that they're going to pull the trigger if they don't get a new stadium.

It wasn't too bad, 6 divisions of 5 teams with AFC central having 6.

If anything, move the Rams back to LA because that makes more sense of being in a West division compared to where they are now.

Yeah, but we've already established that the NFL is geographically retarded.

Ha, true.

At least it's better than before, Atlanta was in the NFC West for awhile.. lol

I personally wouldn't mind an expansion team and total rehaul of conferences. The NFL has already made so many changes, why not change the conferences around? It might break yearly/historic rivalries, but I won't stop watching just because my 'Boys won't be playing the Eagles, Giants or Redskins every year. At least look educated and geographically place teams in divisions, make new rivalries.. I could easily see a Dallas - Houston rival. Put a LA expansion team in there to make everyone happy, because as a fan in general it's interesting to watch a NFL team start from literal scratch. (I was starting to get really interested in football before/after the Houston expansion, so thinking of how a team would start in "todays world" would be really intriguing to follow)

On another note; I'm pretty happy with Madden '15 on the 360(especially since it was free) should I consider buying it on the One? Or just wait for another? I really hate buying new Maddens.

I would just wait for Madden 16.

Until they fix the franchise mode, I doubt I'll invest in another Madden. They've really lost touch with the Dynasty experience and put all their attention towards the online aspects of the game... at least I think so.

I still prefer Madden 2005..

Anyway, Minnesota fights for Peterson. Peterson thinks the Cowboys have a better chance at a Super Bowl. (yeah yeah)Peterson uses thing with his kid as an elaborate well planned excuse to sit out of his contract and not play, because we all know he's been wanting to leave the vikings for some time now, even after he signed that long term deal.

Adrian Peterson.

A moron.

And it would not be fair to Murray at all, if he leaves, and Bastard Jones signs Peterson to a monster contract, because a guy like that ain't gonna settle for 4 million.

Hey look here man, when it comes to things like that, you gotta bend logic a little in order to make sense out of something.

Atlanta is 200 miles northwest from my city. The upper half state of Georgia is veering to the west a bit, as is the central point of Atlanta. The Savannah River travels to the northwest.

WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE NFC WEST

etc

::comes back to post:: This is nonargueablegotiable.

Adrian Peterson was a life-long Cowboys fan, he grew up in Texas and has already stated he wanted to be a Cowboy and I've read he would take a pay cut.... you're dumb to think it wouldn't be smart for a RB to go to the best run blocking o-line to win a super bowl... dumb or a biased hater, like usual.

I love Murray as much as Peterson, both were great legendary Oklahoma Sooners. But if i had to pick? Adrian Peterson hands down. You'll be paying less for the superior runningback.

We shall see if anything comes to light. If it's being called "horrific" and "ray rice styled video", which I have no clue what that means, does that mean he is beating the hell out of a lady in a elevator? Hopefully it is all mularkey, but I won't be surprised if anything does arise.

Geralt of Rivia

If it's true, his career is done. His life as he knows it is over. And I wouldn't be happier.

You do sh*t like that, and you deserve the consequences.

It can sound legit, but until I see something it's all he said she said rumors. We will see if these "former friends" are bluffing or if it is for real.

I don't see how Dez didn't get charged with assaulting a women in a public place caught on surveillance if this is true... and if he did why would this "end his career" if this has already been settled in court? Suspension? Sure.

We're all making assumptions until something breaks the news. That video is probably a lot of money, and if the Cowboys want to think about keeping Dez around, then they'll buy the tape. sh*t is so scandalous.

Lions released Reggie Bush, which is good. It saves $3.5 Million in cap. They have a younger, healthier and cheaper version of him in Theo Riddick, and Joique Bell is a monster at power back. It'll be nice to see him get more carries. Good luck to Reggie, though.

Packers cutting A.J Hawk kinda surprised me. Loved the guy when he was at tOSU and he was pretty solid at LB for Green Bay. They definitely need to focus on LB in the draft and/or FA.

The same way Ray Rice's career is over.

The same way Ray Rice's career is over.Ray Rice is/was a aged and beat up RB. Dez Bryant is a young, healthy and dominant WR. His career isn't over guy, even if he happened to "clock a woman" at Wal-Mart.

Technically Ray Rice's career isn't over. The Falcons and a few other teams were interested in him at the end of the season, but was probably 'too soon' for the few teams that looked at him. He will be signed to a team by the end of preseason.

I've read the 2011 police report related to the supposed video of Dez Bryant assaulting a woman (his baby momma). It said nothing of a scruffle. It sounded like a shady situation, and I wouldn't be in shock if something did happen but at the end of the day someone is trying to get a quick buck off of Bryant. The video was suppose to drop a day or two ago.

I stopped reading here and almost hired the teletubbies to come to your house and strap you to a foam chair with pink stuff bunnies surrounding it.

Falcons, do not need anymore "left over" RBs. It's bad enough we're stuck with lame ass Steven Jackson.

So Peterson just can't get away from Goodell eh? Both are morons lol but Goodell is just doing what he can to divert any attention from any dirt he has on himself. Dez's 3 year old why-should-anyone-care issue will make this easier too!

Well, the Cowboys would have to give the Vikings something in return. Adrian can say that he wants to leave, but it's up to the Vikings to keep him or not. After all, he is still under contract and I don't see the Vikings cutting him.

The most likely candidate to move to LA is St Louis. The owner owns land out there, and they already have a 'deal' in place to build a stadium in the Inglewood area. (The city approved a stadium). Now it's just up to the other owners to approve it, if St Louis owner pulls the trigger. Edited by jatiger13

I don't get it.

Plus, your team is lame all together. Lame might be to harsh, extremely overrated suits them better. As a Cowboys fan that road is all to familiar.

Jerry would give up something valuable to bring AD to Dallas. If it can happen, without it being much of a hassle, and could somehow be cheaper or slightly more expensive than keeping Murray then Jones will not hesitate. From what I've read Jerry and Adrian have talked before, Adrian 'supposedly' openly expressed interest in joining Dallas.

If it can happen without to many restraints then 'ol Jerry Jones will pull the trigger.

Cowboys using the non-exclusive franchise tag on Dez.

I think that's dumb. Why even risk him being able to go somewhere else?

Link to comment

No kidding. I don' know what their gameplan is going into this. Rumor has it, Dez will be tagged and DeMarco will test the market. If he leaves, Jerry will try to rip AD from Minnesota or draft one of the few stud RBs.

Adrian Peterson's cap number in 2015 will be $12.75 million. Too much for the Cowboys.

The Lions have chosen not to franchise tag Suh, which now that its all said and done I agree with. It doesn't matter how dominate he is, $27M tag would be too much for a top 3 QB, let alone a DT with on-field behavioral issues.

And as much as Suh wants to be paid J.J Watt $100M money, do you really want to risk leaving a playoff-Superbowl caliber team that you're familiar with, only to go to an irrelevent team that has a big enough cap space because they don't have anyone else?

LeSean McCoy traded to the Buffalo Bills. Interesting turns of events. Gotta love McCoy in Rex's run happy offense.... and out of the NFC East.
