Its a whole order of sh*t. Got to possess it the whole time going down and never let it pop out.

Sucks.

Terrible season for us.

Definitely wished we bombed the 2011 season instead of that Tebow miracle bs. Could've got Luck instead of these letdowns the past 3 years.

Terrible season for us.

Yes but it pops out AFTER he was down by contact, his knee, elbow and whole torso were completely down. Either it's a bad call or just a dumb, nonsensical rule that they've had PLENTY of plays where it's not taken into effect and called.

Damn man, didn't know Denver was down. Looks like we're sharing the pain dude. I think all our teams are out of the playoffs now.

Well just like the Johnson touchdown, so who knows with all of this reffing anymore.

Might have saw the last of Manning tbh. I think there was more to it than just the thigh injuries since the Rams game. Sucks

Yeah. The Johnson play was terrible too. I mean, he grabbed the ball and both feet touched the ground in bounds. I mean what else does the man have to do? Stand still, count to 30 and THEN let go of the ball.

Outcoached, outplayed. Something else was going on with Manning the past month.

Maybe too beat up and tired of the long season, probably why it could easily be his last time on the field. Which brings me to my point of bombing the 2011 season. 3 years instead of 10+

Now I don't even feel like going to the NFL Experience crap they're having the week before the Super Bowl.

Green Bay will get rocked again, noone can beat Brady at home or outcoach Belichick. So another 1 seed vs 1 seed Super Bowl.

Who knows, all I know is the same kind of play happened earlier in the year with the Broncos and Seahawks. D thomas caught the ball, turned to head up field and got popped, causing the ball to go loose. Incomplete pass, which really should've could've been a fumble.

I guess its also like if a receiver caught the ball falling backwars and the ball dislodges out of his hands, even if he would be down by contact. Either f*ckin way, they can't have the head of officiating come on and discuss the play being confirmed and then the refs at the game reverse the call.

props to Indy but I said it weeks ago; Denver never improved enough from last year.

should we have felt more confident this postseason than last? I wouldn't have been comfortable betting on the game.

granted I wouldn't have been surprised if the Broncos won, but I'm not the least bit surprised that we lost either.

Yup.

Ever since the Rams game sh*t went south.

I didn't feel as confident as the past two years, especially the Ravens game the first time. Much worse than the Super Bowl loss and this one.

I'm going with a Pats vs Seahawks Super Bowl. It would just be fitting to see a former L.O.B go against his old team in the Super Bowl. I'd pick the Pats to win it all at this point.

I think the seahawks repeat this year again. They are looking like the best right now. NE barely got by Balt and Indy ain't beating NE @ their place. Arod is hurtin and they got to play at THE toughest place to play in the NFL.

Bold SP prediction: Seahawks 31- Patriots 21

the Seahawks have the best opportunity to repeat that any team has had in like 10 years.

the last time anyone came close to repeating a Super Bowl was the dynastic Patriots.

Oh god can you imagine MarShawn Lynch and Super Bowl media week? Haha, will be glorious.

Peyton Manning has been playing with a torn right quad and John Fox out as head coach, some interesting news.

I saw that coming. Seems like it was a mutual agreement.

Makes sense why Manning didn't run for that first down that was wide open for 10 plus yards.

I wouldn't mind getting Gruden but I'm sure he's comfy up in his booth. :p

Fumbles are incomplete passes now?

What are you talkin about?

So if we don't win playoff games, we're fired!

Next year, if we don't score points in the first quarter we fired.

If all we do is kick field goals, the entire team is the released. etc

I saw that coming. Seems like it was a mutual agreement.

You know very well what I'm talking about, but I'm gonna let it die. For every person(except here) that I've talked about that issue with, they wanna argue or say some dumb bullsh*t about that game.

Yeah, just let it die, ESPN will be talking about it for this whole week if you want to hear about it. I'll be dodging all my favorite espn shows just for that reason.

I never watch ESPN anymore. They always talk about the same 2 or 3 topics for way too long, it gets pretty annoying after a while.

The guy has said he will pay the fines and has stated he doesn't like talking to media, why the f*ck are these people still trying to get a well thought out answer to their questions? It isn't going to happen, and judging from his body language the guy will eventually go BEAST mode on a reporter or two.

Oh, that. Was confused since you said a fumble. Only last point I want to say, he bobbled it and didn't have any control until he was going down and when he hit the ground it popped out so, I definitely believe it was the real call. Not enough time lapsed for it to be considered possessed. Even if it was a fumble, he recovered but that goes back to the first part.

Back to John Fox, I see why. Our play call was bad throughout the final games of the season, even switched to fun heavy offense until the final game of the year. All we had to do is stop Luck in the passing game, no blitz on him or anything. The offense fizzed out with all of those long balls, should've been running it more considering CJ was doing fine with it.

Also, just because he won 72% of the games coached in those four years, you can't have the season end 3 times in the divisional round with that talent(granted our first one was with Tebow, but still). Especially being at home for two of them

A lot of people were calling Elway egotistic and arrogent, so this guys them more fuel to the fire http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2015/1/13/7539499/john-elway-begins-press-conference-by-thanking-john-elway LOL

We wouldn't have this talented team if it wasn't for him anyways.

@Rex Ryan talking as if the Bills will go 16-0 next year. I gotta give it to this guy, if he doesn't know how to coach, he does have mic skills.

I will laugh if they still miss the playoffs.

Hey GTA the two times I've played a connected franchise on Madden, Zac Dysert always turns into a star, maybe that's the case for real life!

Rex Ryan definitely has the right defense for his style of coaching.

Wouldn't that be something! Even better than Tom Brady! :p

They just need a quarterback, maybe if Orton knew he would've stayed.

Ok what is the tuck rule? Apparently, Tom Brady's name can't be mentioned without this along side it lol.

If a QB attempts to pass the ball but changes his mind (after goin with the forward passing motion) and decides to 'tuck' the ball and happens to slip out of his hand or a defender swats it away from him, they'd consider it a incompletion.

Either way, glad to see it is no longer a rule in the NFL(since 2013 season).

edit

Also been on a post arguing why that Dez reversal was the right call. I stumbled upon some rules that back up the decision.

http://static.nfl.com/static/content/public/image/rulebook/pdfs/11_Rule8_ForwardPass_BackPass_Fumble.pdf

If the player loses the ball while simultaneously touching both feet or any part of his body ther than his hands to the ground, or if there is any doubt that the acts were simultaneous, it is not a catch.

Item 1: Player Going to the Ground.

If a player goes to the ground in the act of catching a pass (with or without contact by an opponent), he must maintain control of the ball throughout the process of contacting the ground, whether in the field of play or the end zone. If he loses control of the ball, and the ball touches the ground before he regains control, the pass is incomplete. If he regains control prior to the ball touching the ground, the pass is complete.

Item 4: Ball Touches Ground.

If the ball touches the ground after the player secures control of it, it is a catch, provided that the player continues to maintain control.

Ok so that's the tuck rule. LOL Another convenient on-the-fly rule to fit an ideal situation.

Yea, except it was called in the season earlier before it happened in the playoffs on Brady but they got rid of it. :^:
