Well one thing is, at least it wasn't Romo that cost the Cowboys the game. That Murray fumble was huge, he was going for a td himself. Missed field goal turned into a field goal for GB.

No sh*t, me and a few people were joking after the game that people would still shift the blame on Romo somehow. Oh well, we will have the same big 3 for at least one more year, hopefully we can make something out of it.

 

... I don't care about "most recent superbowls", and if that is your case then the Cowboys have more super bowls than both your teams combined.

Romo was the big reason they were in that game. Murray fumbled and our defense gave up constant 3rd and longs.

Just because a bad call went their way last week doesn't mean they should just get f*cked in the ass this week. Either way, it's incredibly sad that games are ending and teams are losing because the NFL refs are blowing calls.

Either way, it's incredibly sad that games are ending and teams are losing because the NFL refs are blowing calls.

Detroit didn't lose that game because of that blown call and that Dez call was a legit call. The only call that cost a team a game was the fail mary a few years ago.

 

Either way, good games this post season.

Are you f*cking retarded? Legit question. In what way did Romo lose them that game or show that he deserved to lose his job? He played arguably his best post season game, had a incredibly high completion percentage and had a great pass to Dez Bryant due to a bogus call.

I watched that Calvin Johnson TD and that was bullsh*t too. Here's my beef. If you grab a ball and either cross the plain or are down by contact, it's ruled a complete pass and the play is over and we're on to the next play, correct? Is this not the definition of a completed play and catch? If this is the case, then why would a ball coming out AFTER a receiver is down by contact be considered an incomplete pass? The NFL is honestly a joke if they're going to have rules that contradict each other this blatantly like that. My other problem is how often has this happened and it has NOT been called. If it's not being called 99% of the time, then you can't just call it once in a blue moon and expect the players and fans to not be angry and really question what the f*ck is going on in this three ring circus you call a sports league when you pretty much cost them a game by calling this with a 4th down play with the play resulting in a pass to the 1 yard line.

They was saying he didn't make a football move, he didn't have position in the air and by the time he did, he was going to the ground and the ball popped out.

 

It was a good call, both in that game and for Johnson.

 

It gets called all the time, especially when a receiver gets popped after catching it and fumbling it but overturned because he didn't make a football move.

3 steps, his elbow and knee hit the ground. THEN the ball comes out after he's down. I get that it's a VERY close play, but if they're going to overturn something that big they need to practically see it frame by frame. Which again, shows this. Either way game's over and I'll look forward to start watching football again next season.

I'm sure they did, frame by frame. I saw it like they did. He never had control of the ball until he was going down. Then the ball popped out, so never had possession, but if anything that Green Bay catch should've been overturned. Clear as day the ball hit the ground under his body.

The sad part is that this game was officiated so well (it was a masterpiece compared to last weeks) only for the game to be overshadowed by a call. It was a genuinely great game to watch for fans of the teams or a fan of another team.

 

Once again, challenge of the year for mccarthy.. could've very well won them the game.

There were a few questionable calls, but for the most part they did their job well outside of that big catch. Looking at the pics on Twitter, it looks very clear to me that Dez had the ball when his knee hit.

Either way, I at least feel way better going into the team's next season than I did in years past, and at least that's one positive thing I can say right now.

What's really dumb is they allow the head of officiating talk about plays under review.

 

Just now in the Broncos game, the punt fumble was called a fumble on the field. Went under review and he said, "yea this should stand" etc etc but then they come back and overturn it. Like how can you have one of the leads say it shall stand, but then overturn it?

 

That just shows how bad it is.

Watching it over and over again, anyone with a working pair of eyes should be able to see that the ball came out after he was down. He took 3 steps as well and dove for the in zone which is a "football move". I really want to just let this go and stop dwelling on it, but it's hard when I'm hearing about it everywhere. Just feels like this refs spit in Dez's face and just stole his moment and an awesome play he made. Anyways. I'm gonna go watch some rasslin' or something to take my mind off this f*ckery of a call.
