I'd rather have Andrew Luck than any other 'young QB', if that's the case. I'm also sure Flacco has passed for 400 yards a game, but I was meaning in one game have 400 yards and nearly 200 yards rushing(which is close to the figures Kaep had against Green Bay).

Like a few QBs in the league, some just don't get enough credit. Kaepernick has been to 1 super bowl and 1 conference title since taking the helm of QB... No telling what'll happen this year. We were talking about 'Game Managers' and I think Russell Wilson will be the poster boy for that title for a while.

Yup, a 27 year old woman and a 18 month baby. At this point you wonder who's next or if this sh*t can possibly get any worse.

Has there ever been a year worse in the league than this one especially of how much controversy there has been?

No. Not that i can think of.

Ridiculous though. You know its bad when the CEOs of soda companies and beer companies weigh in on whats going on.

You wan to talk about abuse, the Falcons spanked the sh*t out of Tampa, 56-14. So much for the 2014 revamp. :O

Congrats to Hester though! I don't think anybody is going to touch that record anytime soon.

Yeah, the Falcons NEVER scored that much, or had such a huge margin of victory, for as long I can remember. And the buccaneers destroyed them last year in week 7, infact the Bucs, even at their worst, usually gives the Falcons problems. I thought I was dreaming. Maybe this team can be better than the 1998 team. 13 games to go, so we'll see.

How does stuff like this make it a bad year in the NFL? What, just because mainstream media finally put the story out there? It has been like this for decades. Anyone remember the two fans that got killed in the parking lot after a Chargers game? The Cowboys in the 90's that were up on drug trafficking charges? Or how many of you can recall how many people in the NFL were convicted of vehicular manslaughter and served no jail time and played for years? Christ, the better question is why now? Why after decades of athletes getting away with murder(literally) why now is the national media making a spectacle out of it. And pay close attention, the media is not going after the individuals who committed the crime, they are going after the league. I'll ask again, why? Is your employer responsible for your crime? NO! So why are they asking for leaders of the NFL to quit their jobs?

Guess they play like they look...an Arena football team. And I thought Jacksonville was ugly as sh*t.

I was whooped as a child. Everyone I know was whooped as a child. My parents were whooped as children. My grandparents were whooped as children. Pretty much everyone I know who currently has children gives them the belt as a means of discipline. I have to think that the only reason these men are being arrested for it is because they are public figures. Because it's something virtually everyone does but doesn't get in trouble for it but when a former MVP does it he gets indicted by a grand jury.

They are so quick to jump on negative publicity and disregard the positive things the good players in the NFL do. I think most people are just upset and overly sensitive to what these guys did and society is different now then it used to be so a lot of people want justice for what these players are doing and they are looking for someone to hold accountable for the players actions.

I was spanked too, but I never had marks like Peterson's kid. There's a difference between a spanking and a beating. AP clearly crossed the line, especially when the kid is only 4.

What's more impressive about Hester is he got 7 punt returns and 4. kick returns in his first two years. Which is more impressive than 19 total returns for Sanders, since they combine defensive returns.

To be fair to any Bucs fans out there, your team simply is missing some good players at key positions and ATL took advantage of that, I also jumped the gun a bit there in my last post. The Falcons couldn't steamroll the Bengals and their superior defense. When it comes down to them against a well balanced team, they can have either of three issues, I've observed:

Issue one: Cannot get scoring drives as quickly as they are known far, due to the opponent's defense holding them down.

Issue two: Forced to have shootouts with the opposing offense, because the defense can't hold the opponents score. In the end, it comes down to a field goal. Always ← The case with the Saints, and a couple of games in 2012.

Issue three: Cannot get scoring drives going, cannot hold the opponents score. ← This was the case with the Bengals.

Falcons can score 50-60 points all they want, and Matt Ryan can toss 500 yards, but the ATL defense is still the lingering question mark that ultimately decides the outcome of games where it counts. Once they get a suitable defense, there is NO execuse for them not to win a Super Bowl. So Blank better get on the ball, because Roody White ain't getting any younger, and Julio Jones, while being awesome, he's no megatron.

It doesn't help the Bucs have a backup QB as a starter. It took Atlanta scoring 35 points before the Bucs got a first down. I feel sorry for Lovie because he's a better coach than this.

The Super Bowl winning Saints had a pretty horid defense, but most of the defensive players were playmakers, making turnovers when it counts and that's why they won with that below par defense. If you have a crappy defense you better hope they can make a play on the ball or you'll have a rob ryan defense... very, very overrated defense and coach.

Damn. Long time Titans kicker Rob Bironas died in a one car rollover. Dude made a record 8 field goals against Houston a few years back too. The guy was only 36 years old too. RIP.

Speaking of the 'skins, I'm pretty sure it's safe it say RGIII will not be the starter when he's healthy.

As much as I like RG3 Kirk is really a better fit for Grudens system

Not just that, the way RG3 plays isn't NFL friendly. Especially when you're a twig compared to the db that come after you.

So, since Washington can't seem to win with actual talent, they've now resorted to trying to physically take out all of Philly's players. Real cool.

Dirty game. It's been entertaining, though. :^:
