I felt worse about that loss than I did the loss in SB 48. Having a victory snatched away from you is far worse than having your ass kicked.

I sincerely hope Eagles dont make the super bowl. I would tell you the opposite if Carson Wentz was still playing. I enjoy watching Keenum play, Foles not so much, and I think the Vikings offense could hang with New England.... and yes I am automatically assuming Patriots win with or without Brady.

 

 

Plus, I think Brian Hoyer is a really great fit the Belichick system.

For the first time since I was a little kid, I am not watching the Super Bowl. It's not even that Brady wins so much that irks me. It's how he wins. I am begging for him to retire. When he and Belichick do, I will be overjoyed.

 

I expected them to beat the Falcons last year. How they won was so deflating. The same goes for today. Them winning was no surprise, but it just had to be another double digit fourth quarter comeback, didn't it?

 

I've been sick of New England since 2004.

Did you enjoy Foles tonight? Probably one of the best performances by an Eagles QB in the postseason, if not the best.

Thinking about going, as the SB is the last major sporting event I havent attended.

They've gone before, but they didn't win it. Against the same team in Super Bowl 39. Eagles are once again trying to reclaim their first championship since 1960. They are also one of my favorite teams, some I'm a little happy. Still wish it were the Falcons .

 

I also half expected the Jags to be another wild card team to reach the super bowl. I did say on nfl.com/facebook.. only way to beat the pats is the keep scoring, not stopping, all the way down to the final minute. Find a way to score, pile on the lead, or if no lead, just keep scoring. You can't take your foot off the gas against that team.

 

They talked about Foles got damn 2013 year enough that they re-created him. lol

It's really up to how well the o-line continues to protect him + his arm conditioning.. he could be another Vinny age wise.. playing til the like 42 or something like that. For sure though, when those two are gone, it'll be the most depressing day for New England, and you'll certainly be seeing just how many of those fans were fair weather fans.
